A group of Ukrainian servicemen was recently captured in battles near the village of Novomayorkoe located on the border between the DPR and the Zaporozhie region. Ukrainian prisoners of war (POWs) explained that their crews blew up on Russian mines and confirmed that the Ukrainian army is suffering heavy losses in the region.
Despite the attempts of the Kiev regime to accuse the Russian military of all kinds of war crimes, including the tortures and inhumane treatment of the POWs, such claims are not confirmed by any facts. The video above is another evidence that all Ukrainian servicemen who surrender to the Russian military are treated according to international laws and none of their rights are violated. Moreover, a lot of Ukrainian servicemen are glad to surrender and are surprised that Russian servicemen treat them better than their Ukrainian commanders.
The group captured near Novomayorskoe is seen calm. The pows are smoking Russian cigarettes and eating Russian food. The Ukrainians were stripped for a full search, including for the presence of Nazi tattoos.
Despite Kiev’s attempts to hide the truth, more and more Ukrainian servicemen surrender to the Russian military because they know that the Russian side will treat them normally, soon or later they will be exchanged and they will come back home alive.

Russians currently have about 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers in captivity, while there are no more than 1,000 Russian POWs in Ukraine.
