On December 13, Russian Military Police (MP) and Turkish forces carried out a joint patrol in the north of Syria’s Aleppo province. This was the 82nd joint patrol carried out since the signing of the Russian-Turkish ceasefire agreement in 2019.

The convoy, consisting of 8 armored vehicles, accompanied by 2 helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces, proceeded 15 km east of Ain al-Arab (Kobani).

Following the joint patrol, the Turkish military vehicles returned to Turkey through the border crossing near Gharib village, while the Russian military vehicles returned to their position near the town of Sirrin, south of Kobani.

The previous 81st joint patrol was carried out in the western countryside of Kobani on December 6.
