Russian troops are successfully moving forward in the Toretsk and Pokrovsk directions. The Ukrainian Army is hurriedly pulling most of its forces to the main line of defense near the border with the Dnipropetrovsk Region.
In the north of Toretsk (Dzerzhynsk), Russian troops approached the dominant height – the slagheap of the Toretsk mine. Besides, fighting took place to the west of the Central mine, in the area of the Avangard stadium and the Central Market. Due to the ongoing hostilities, the city suffered significantly.
The Russian Armed Forces are currently advancing in the area near Zabalka. There is fighting in the slagheaps of the No. 10 and No. 1 Toretsk mines, with Russian troops trying to occupy the dominant heights.

The situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces is deteriorating rapidly. There was information about the surrender of seven soldiers of the elite 101st guard brigade of the Ukrainian General Staff. The soldiers made this decision after they received leaflets by UAV with detailed instructions on how to surrender, which allowed them to lay down their weapons and save their lives.

In the Pokrovsk direction, as a result of successful offensive actions, Russian units of the “Center” group of forces seized the village of Novotroitskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

These days, Russian troops are fighting on the southern outskirts of Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk). At the same time, they are developing an offensive to the West from Novoelezavetivka.
The blows of Russian troops in the area of Vozdvizhenka are a new element now. It is likely that the purpose of such actions will be to disrupt the adversary’s logistics along the Konstantinovka-Pokrovsk highway, which runs north of Vozdvizhenka. The Russian Armed Forces are also reported to have forced the Kazennyi Toretsk river near Mirolyubovka.
The taking of Toretsk itself is necessary for Russia not only from the point of view of opening the route to Konstantinovka, but also to alleviate the situation in Horlivka, which Ukrainian army continues to shell constantly, realizing that it will soon be deprived of such an opportunity.
