On February 17, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
12 of the videos show a series of drone attacks that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, including other drones, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.
Several of the attacks targeted artillery pieces, including at least two Ukrainian-made 2S22 Bohdana self-propelled howitzers.
An additional video shows recent airstrikes that targeted Ukrainian gathering of troops and equipment close to the settlements of Veseloe and Zavadskoe in the direction of Kharkiv. UMPK-equipped FAB-500 guided glide bombs were used in the airstrikes.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile, drone and artillery strikes targeted “temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 148 areas” over the last 24 hours.
The ministry also said that Russian air defenses shot down eight guided aerial bombs, and 334fixed-wing drones during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 670 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 114,976 drones, 650 air defense systems, 27,742 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,664 multiple rocket launchers, 33,330 artillery pieces, and 54,587 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
