The Houthis have once again increased their missile and drone strikes on targets belonging to the Saudi-UAE-led coalition.

In western Yemen, the Houthis emplyoed their combat UAVs, most likely Qasef-1, against a command center of the coalition. According to the pro-Houthis Al Masirah TV network, the attack caused a large explosion in the camp of the coalition and resulted in casualties among coalition forces.

Separately, the Houthis launched a ballistic missile at a military camp in the Saudi province of Narjan. The pro-Houthi sources claimed that the missile hit its target. The Saudi military said that the missile was intercepted.

The Houthis’ strikes on coalition targets in Saudi Arabia and in Yemen remain one of the most important factors deterring the Saudi military activity in Yemen. The Houthis have successfully shown that their missiles and combat UAVs pose a clear threat to targets deep inside Saudi Arabia, including the kingdom’s capital of Riyadh.
