Houthis Attack Saudi Army Border Post In Najran Province

On April 8, Houthi fighters conducted a hit and run attack against a border post of the Saudi Army in the al-Fir’a area of the Saudi southern province of Najran, according to the Houthis media wing.

During the attack, the Houthis targeted the barracks of the Saudi border post with two Konkurs anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) killing and injuring several Saudi Army soldiers. Houthi fighters also burned what was left of the post after capturing it.

The Yemeni al-Masirah TV reported that the Saudi Army had desperately tried to repel the attack by shelling Houthi fighters around the border post. However, the shelling was not effective.

The Houthis have carried out several cross border attacks against the Saudi Army positions in Najran province since the beginning of 2018. Houthi fighters stormed two positions of the Saudi Army in Najran on March 22 only.

The Saudi-led coalition will likely boost its ground operations against the Houthis in the Yemeni northern province of Saada, south of Najran in response to the Houthis’ attack.

You can call me Al

The average age of them all, must have been what 17?.

Well done on their victory in this battle, but for me, it was sad to watch a whole generation being ruined by the elite’s illegal wars.

The Saudi’s are hopelessly disorganised and very messy soldiers. Virtually a rabble lacking in morale and discipline. If the Houthi’s have all the kit plus MANPAD’s this conflict could get very interesting indeed.

What a useless bunch of currs the KSA soldiers are.

I bet Wahhabis are going to build their new Border posts a bit more inland….

I’m sorry Merijin, this all looks to fake to me.
One thing: I’m with all my heart with Yemenis.
