Houthi Suicide Drones Hit ´Sensitive’ Targets In Saudi Capital

On April 1, the Houthis (Ansar Allah) announced that they had attacked several “sensitive” and “important” targets in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.

Brig. Gen. Yahya Sari, a spokesman for the Yemeni group, said that the targets were struck with four suicide drones. The spokesman claimed that the attack was successful, without providing any further details.

“Our operations will continue as long as the aggression and siege are ongoing,” the spokesman said, calling the attack a “legitimate response”.

Aviation observers noted a disturbance in civilian flights over Riyadh and other parts of the Kingdom. This usually indicates that an attack is taking place.

The Saudi-led coalition has not commented on the Houthis claims, yet. While the silence of the coalition is a sign that the attack was successful, no explosions were reported by Saudi citizens on social media.

The attack on Riyadh is the most recent in a series of operations by the Houthis against high-value targets deep inside Saudi Arabia.

Less than a week ago, the Houthis attacked targets in Ras Tanura, Rabigh, Yanbu and Jizan, ‘Asir, Najran as well as Kind Abdulaziz Air Base with 18 drones and eight missiles. The large attack, codenamed “Operation National Day of Resilience,” was meant to commemorate six years of the Saudi war on Yemen.

Saudi Citizens cannot post any video of Houttis attacks unless they face a punishment because Saudi authorities forbid it.

Besides the Saudis I have met online are more often than not sock puppet accounts. “Lone Ranger” on Google Plus, for instance, (not the Lone Ranger here) pretended to be one of a pair of Saudi teenage twin girls, spent most of her time foaming at the mouth against Assad, and never once had a word to say about Yemen and Barbaria. She also had “supporters” whose own pages had absolutely no content except repost of her own anti Assadaganda (not the other posts, just the anti Assadaganda). The moment the Khashoggi chopping happened she deleted her account, meaning she was probably a sock account operated by one of the anti Salman al Bonesawi factions.

farbat

look i say it as it is irans velayate faqih system and the people inside that system are very flexible in what they do and they would be okay with iran having saudi arabia or turkey or china or germany as close partner for cooperation because at the end of the day these systems are no threats to iran nor to any iranian ally

farbat

the idea that they went against iran so ignorantly thinking that they could defeat all the smaller resistance member and soon after iran has turned into a big mistake on their part they could have opted for the position to be aligned with ansarullah and they might have a short bad consequence but the eventual outcome is going to be worse to go against ansarallah

farbat

they saw assad hezbollah ansarallah and iraq as stepping stones towards destroying iran and these stepping stones turned out to be bear traps ripping off their legs

farbat

i never understood the anger with assad after all he is very moderate compared to his enemies so the west could actually hope for better relations with syria than it could ever have with iran and now its both the same mess for them both syria and iran hate americas guts

FlorianGeyer

I also detest what the US warmongering leadership has done to Iran and indeed the rest of the world, and I am British and white. :)

Ashok Varma

Syria under the Assads stood up to the Zionists and supported Iran and Hezbollah and that made it a target.

farbat

btw dont take puppets of puppets serious at all and america is already a puppet i take it somewhat serious the same with zionists but puppets of puppets and their puppets etc pp is all way to absurd i cant take it serious at all

farbat

saudis dont say it but they have lost large parts of their population the last years either they sought refugee in europe or america or they wandered to neighboring countries and most of all the south has lost half of its population with some regions having lost two thirds of population

farbat

i expect things look not different in western turkey after a while with large population flood towards europe when they start invasions around summer because turks are still in the delusions that they will have no security threats in turkey aswell as a sort of population which will champion all threats both are errors of theirs

Ashok Varma

Indian expats have described total power outage in Riyadh and several explosions and total failure of US and Zionist interception systems. The Saudis despite hiring new western mercenaries are faring very poorly.

Jihadi Colin

At this point the Houthi drones no longer have to hit anything to launch a successful attack. Their very presence is enough to paralyse Barbarian life as much as an attack would.

farbat

actually you are right the sound these drones make terrify people nowadays which made large parts of the south flee and according to even saudi reports the whole south has atleast lost one third of the entire population and its not just moving north but leaving all together with the demographics having become widely shia these days despite all the attempts to wipe out the shia in ksa they have nowadays mayority in some regions

FlorianGeyer

When the time is right to arm the Shia in Saudi Arabia, we will know that the Saud clan is finished, I think.
The Shia have a lot of scores to settle in the KSA.

farbat

in our understanding ahlulbayt isnt secterian as such neither is velayate faqih still they started their secterian wars these saudis zionists turks and such and from what i see they are not just failing their aims but the small sect they sought to wipe out is pretty much beating them around so they should better stop this madness and behave like muslims again and care about ummah (community and tranquility) instead of madness warmongering and being utter puppets of extra regional forces making us all lose at the end and just a very very very small group have all the butter while everybody else can have their excrements and that is what saudis are all about not knowing that they are on the dirt eater side of things

Jihadi Colin

Wahhabis from the days of the first Ibn Wahb and al Saud alliance in 1744 were all about power, and never gave a damn about Muslims or anything. The first thing they did was massacre people in Basra triggering an Ottoman intervention.

farbat

they never understood what power means

farbat

iam serious here not the arabs not the turks not any of them only ones who understood it are the annoyance of the jews and they usually didnt had anything but conceptual power and maybe ideological and financial power in the past to use against their enemies

farbat

the saudis and the turks most of all dont have a brain they only understand excutive power which is why they are such a joke at the end of the day not worth to take serious

farbat

globalist order meanwhile is a serious threat they use all powers avaivable and they use it effectively and that always hidden by having a decantralized non structural method in the open while its highly centralized and structured in reality and its hidden part

Concrete Mike

Its hidden behind corporations.

The privatization of services is meant to stiffle accountability.

farbat

irans revolution isnt directed against imbeciles like the turks the saudis or even the british and americans at the end of the day but at the real problem the serpent which feeds on its own body so to say the endless cycle of ruin which is the governing system of the globe and has to end therefore ansarallah has one immediate goal and an end goal aswell

farbat

when it comes to ansarallah their words are clear and the seriousness of it all will come to light one day or another

Faisal al Al-Mahdi of Iraq

People like wahabis were around from the beginning, the 3 Rulers following the passing of the messenger of God (AS) usurped the succession of the Imam Ali (as). they distorted the religion from the beginning even changing the calendar from a solar lunar to lunar and making up punishments etc etc eg a fake sharia. Glory to God in the highest that he gave us the ahlybayt and the martyrdom of Imam Hussein and his beloved family.

BMWA1

Where B the Ami air defence?

Concrete Mike

“Pointed towards iran ”
Jacob Wohl 2019.

Cromwell

Hit the palace where those fat slugs fester.

verner

yep beneficial for the middle east if they can target mohammed bin salman, well known having paid 450m$ for a fake leonardo da vinci, and then netanyahu, the two most criminal minds in the ME

Ashok Varma

Shopping malls and other assets owned by the al Saud pigs would make good targets along with all infrastructure.

FlorianGeyer

Yes, I would really enjoy seeing that :)
The vast majority of the world would as well, even MBS’s friends.

Ashok Varma

The Ansarallah need to get more ruthless and go after the al-Saud swines palaces and softer targets like hotels that house western mercenaries.

Eyesore

Aww instead of jus calling’em kamikaze drones the houthi ingenuity should be honoured and name them something dignified like ICM’s!–Improvised Cruise Missile , wat say?

Emad Irani

Now imagine Hezbollah can do the same somewhere else…
