The head of the Syrian opposition’s High Negotiations Committee (HNC) delegation, Asaad Al-Zoubi told the TASS news agency that two North Korean military units are fighting along with the Syrian army in the conflict of Syria.

He also said that those two “lethally dangerous” North Koreans units are called Chalma-1 and Chalma-2.

It is also reported that the Syrian delegate provided the information as he attended Syria peace talks at the United Nations European headquarters in Geneva.

The UN-brokered talks in Geneva aimed at putting an end to the devastating five-year civil war in Syria.

However, in Geneva, three Syrian opposition delegations: the Riyadh-backed High Negotiations Committee, a delegation formed after Moscow and Cairo rounds of Syrian talks and a delegation formed at the Hmeimim air facility in Syria are participating in the negotiations with the Syrian government.

Nevertheless, the Arab country is currently observing an agreement for the cessation of hostilities which entered into force on February 27. The agreement stipulates the cessation of all military hostilities in Syria, except for the operations against ISIS terrorist group and al-Qaeda-linked al-Nusra Front militants.

The agreement was negotiated by Russia and the United States. Many suggest that Washington is among the main supporters of terrorists fighting against the Syrian government forces.

I really don’t mean to make light of such a serious situation, but it’s really becoming a fiasco. I’m glad to get anyone fighting on the right side, but at any moment now I half expect Dr. Evil to send his crack unit in. I’m fairly sure Mike Myers writes half the script for North Korea’s foreign policy anyway.

can the saudis be believed to begin with? and if the north koreans are there, how big are these units, do they have heavy equipment, and how did they sneak in there unnoticed until now? i hope they are helping out, but really wonder if it is even true.

I hope they have better uniforms than those in the pictures. They blend in with nothing not to mention it is a photo op pic. No extra ammo, supplies, etc..

They are firing from the hip. Probably the first time they have fired/held a gun. This is bs, and so pathetic.

HNC is known for its psycopath nature. The joints they smoke must be really good…
