On January 16, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
Nine of the videos show a series of drone attacks that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, including other drones, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.
One more video shows an attack with at least two Geran-type fixed-wing suicide drones that targeted an American-made M142 HIMARS multiple launch rocket system of Kiev forces close to the settlement of Khlopyaniki in the direction of Chernigov.
The Russian Ministry of Defense, which released the footage, said that the system “was completely destroyed along with the crew.”
Two more videos show airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs that hit Ukrainian positions in the settlement of Verkhnia Tersa in the Zaporizhia direction and a crossing on the Siverskyi Donets River close to the settlement of Bohorodychne in the Donetsk direction.
According to the weekly briefing by the Russian MoD, Kiev forces have lost 670 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 109,344 drones, 645 air defense systems, 27,154 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,642 multiple rocket launchers, 32,613 artillery pieces, and 51,993 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
