On July 27, the Houthis’ media wing released a video of recent attacks on Saudi-led coalition vehicles in the Kingdom’s southern province of Najran.
The video, titled “High Way To Hell,” shows four pick-up trucks, an armored car and a mine-clearing vehicle being stuck with improvised-explosive devices (IEDs), which had been planted by the Houthis’ engineer units.
The Houthis’ engineer units are known for using advanced improvised-explosive devices (IEDs), some of them are even equipped with an automatic detonator linked to a passive infrared (PIR) sensor, which makes them self-functioning.
According to the Saudi-led coalition, Lebanese Hezbollah and the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) are providing the Yemeni rebel group with technical support to manufacture such IEDs.
