On February 11, Hezbollah launched another series of attacks against the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) from its heartland, southern Lebanon, in support of the Palestinian Gaza Strip.
In two separate statements, Hezbollah said that its fighters targeted surveillance equipment of the IDF in the sites of Ruwaisat al-Alam and al-Abad. In another statement, the group announced that it had fired rockets at Ruwaisat al-Alam.
Hezbollah also said in two more statements that its fighters attacked gatherings of Israeli troops in the Trihat Triangle and Mount Nadhar.
The attacks were carried out “to support the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance,” Hezbollah noted its statements.
Separately, Hezbollah’s Military Media released videos showing recent attacks on IDF border sites and an Israeli Skylark reconnaissance drone that was downed over southern Lebanon.
In response to recent attacks, the IDF said that it carried out strikes against several Hezbollah sites in southern Lebanon.
Sites hit by Israeli fighter jets in the town of Marwahin included a rocket-launching position and other infrastructure used by Hezbollah, according to the IDF. In the towns of Ramyah, Yaroun and Chihine, the IDF said it hit an observation post, a building and additional infrastructure of the group.
In addition, the IDF said that its forces opened fire at a suspect spotted in the outskirts of the town of Kafr Kila in south Lebanon.
Lebanese media didn’t report any civilian casualties. However, the Shia Amal Movement, Hezbollah’s top ally in Lebanon, mourned two fighters from its armed wing, the Lebanese Resistance Regiments.
Hezbollah and its allies, including the Hamas Movement and other Palestinian armed factions, have been launching attacks from southern Lebanon against the IDF since the outbreak of the war in Gaza.
As of February 11, the clashes on the Lebanese-Israeli border have resulted in six civilian deaths on the Israeli side, as well as the deaths of nine IDF soldiers. On the Lebanese side, more than 300 have been killed. The toll includes 177 Hezbollah fighters, 14 of whom were killed in Syria, 28 Palestinians, a Lebanese soldier, and at least 28 civilians.

funny thing happened, syrian foreign minister:
‘syria is fully ready for another war with israel, and it is up to syria when and where such war will take place’ – fars news (fars news is an iranian news site not syrian).
i should put it this way, no one wants to start the war… most people thought zionists would have by now but they didn’t yet mainly because of the us/west pulling a leash on zionists.
