Hezbollah announced on October 23 that its fighters in southern Lebanon thwarted multiple infiltration attempts and repelled several attacks by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) in five different directions over the last few days.

In a statement, Hezbollah said that the IDF’s 146th Division made several infiltration attempts in the first direction from the town of Naqoura to the town of Marouhin.

“The operations in this direction were limited to attempts to infiltrate towards the southern neighborhoods of the towns of Marouhin, Dahra, Yarin, and Alma al-Shaab, with the aim of booby-trapping and blowing up houses for fear that they would be used by the Mujahideen. The Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance confronted these attempts and targeted the enemy’s gatherings and advance paths in Ras al-Naqoura, Hanita, and the vicinity of the town of Dahra,” the group added.

The group also reported heavy losses by the IDF’s 36th Division in the second direction, from the town of Ramya to the town of Rmeish, including the town of Aita al-Shaab, and from Rmeish to the town of Aitaroun.

“After the heroic confrontations witnessed in the Aita al-Shaab – al-Qawzah – Ramya triangle last week, during which the enemy suffered heavy losses at the hands of the resistance’s Mujahideen. In the past few days, the enemy has tried to advance towards the Abu al-Laban hill east of the town of Aita al-Shaab with the aim of occupying it and tightening control over the town. The Islamic Resistance fighters confronted the enemy forces and targeted its gatherings and advance paths in Khallet Wardeh and the surroundings of the town of Aita al-Shaab. They also targeted many forces that infiltrated the vicinity of the municipality building, resulting in the deaths and injuries of its members, while the evacuation operations continued for long hours due to the repeated targeting of the resistance,” Hezbollah said.

“The division formations are trying to advance towards the center of the town of Aitaroun from the eastern and western neighborhoods with the aim of occupying it and isolating it from its surroundings. In conjunction with attempts to advance towards the center of the towns of Maroun al-Ras and Yaroun from the southern neighborhoods of the two towns. The Islamic Resistance fighters are targeting the gatherings and advance paths of these formations with dense and repeated salvos, which inflicts heavy losses on them, hinders their movement and forces them to retreat towards uncovered areas,” it added.

In the third direction, the IDF’s 91st Division also made several advance attempts between the towns of Blida and Houla, according to the group.

“Enemy forces advanced in this direction through invisible paths towards some of the eastern neighborhoods of the towns of Mays al-Jabal, Muhaibib and Blida, where they booby-trapped some houses and blew them up. Enemy forces are trying to advance towards the eastern neighborhoods of the town of Houla amidst violent confrontations with the Islamic Resistance fighters,” the group said, noting that “the enemy army’s booby-trapping and bombing of the houses of the town of Muhaibib comes after it was unable to tighten its control over the town and consolidate its forces for fear of being targeted by the resistance.”

Hezbollah also said that the IDF’s 98th Division made several infiltration attempts in the fourth direction, between the town of Markaba the Israeli-occupied town of Ghajar.

“Enemy forces attempted to infiltrate towards the town of Taybeh from the south and east, but the Islamic Resistance fighters confronted them with machine guns and rockets, which resulted in a large number of dead and wounded among the infiltrating force. When an enemy support force attempted to advance to withdraw the casualties, the Mujahideen confronted it, inflicted more losses on it and forced it to retreat. A Merkava tank attempted to advance towards the eastern outskirts of the town of Taybeh, but the Mujahideen targeted it with a guided missile, destroying it and killing and wounding its crew. The Mujahideen also monitored an enemy force attempting to infiltrate towards the forest of the town of Adaisseh, so they confronted it with appropriate weapons and forced it to retreat,” the group detailed in its statement.

The IDF’s 210th Division also made advance attempts in the fifth and last direction, between Ghajar and the Israeli-occupied Shebaa Farms, per the group.

“Enemy forces are attempting to advance in the outskirts of the towns of Kfar Shuba and Shebaa and to control the security barriers near the border, in order to protect the border from any ground advance by the resistance. In this direction, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance are intensively targeting the gathering and positioning points of the enemy forces and the enemy’s military sites with missile weapons,” the group said.

Hezbollah stressed in the statement that the IDF had not been able to fully establish its control or completely occupy any town on the front edge of southern Lebanon.

In addition, the group said that its missile and air forces escalated their strikes on Israel, employing new advanced weapons. It also stated that its air defense force shot down four reconnaissance and combat drones of the IDF in the last few days.

Separately, Hezbollah’s military media released three videos showing an IDF Hermes 450 combat drone being shot down, an attack on a base near the central Israeli city of Tel Aviv with Qadir-2 precision-guided ballistic missiles and a rocket attack that targeted the northern city of Nahariya.

The clashes on the Lebanese-Israeli border first broke out after the start of the war in the Gaza Strip, with Hezbollah launching attacks in support of the Palestinian enclave. Israel escalated its attacks on Lebanon starting from September 17 and on September 27 it assassinated the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Hassan Nassrallah.

The IDF officially announced the launch of a limited ground operation against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon on September 30.

According to Hezbollah’s latest statement, since the start of the ground operation in southern Lebanon at least 70 Israeli soldiers have been killed and more than 600 others have been wounded. In addition, 28 Merkava tanks, four armored bulldozers, an armored personnel carrier and an armored vehicle have been destroyed. Three Hermes 450 and one Hermes 900 combat drones have also been shot down.

shlomo has bitten off more than he can chew and talmudistan is on an irreversible downward trajectory. shlomo knows that his only hope is to drag in the the stupid goys in the united snakes as a golem to save his bacon. like the belligerent drunk in a bar raging that people had better hold him back or else he doesn’t know what he’s going to do. entirely predictable and a little bit pathetic. even uncle sugar has had enough of this comedy routine. sad.
