On September 28, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
Ten of the videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones, and interceptor drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.
An additional video shows an attack with Geran-type fixed-wing suicide drone that targeted a power plant and a substation supplying Kiev forces in the Chernihiv direction.
Three more videos show airstrikes with UMPK-equipped FAB-500 and FAB-3000 guided glide bombs that targeted Ukrainian positions near the settlement of Varachino in the direction of Sumy, the settlement of Privolnoye in the direction of Zaporizhzhia, the settlement of Vilcha in the Kharkiv direction, and the settlement of Novogrigorovka in the Donetsk direction.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile and drone strikes hit “a traction substations used to transport weapons and military hardware by rail to combat zones in Donbass, assembly and storage sites for unmanned boats and long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, and their launch areas as well as temporary deployment areas of the AFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine) and foreign mercenaries in 147 areas” over the past 24 hours.
The ministry said that Russian air defenses shot down during the same period six guided aerial bombs, six American-made HIMARS and Czech-made Vampire projectiles as well as 230 fixed-wing drones.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Kiev forces have lost 667 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 87,130 drones, 631 air defense systems, 25,273 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,592 multiple rocket launchers, 30,010 artillery pieces, and 42,797 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
