Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham Increases Shelling Against Military And Civilian Targets In Hama, Homs, and Idlib

Hay’at Tahrir al-sham (HTS) and US-backed Jaish al-Izza shelled government positions and residential areas in the villages of Qamhana and Mahardeh in the Hama countryside. Militants also used mortar shells and missiles to target the villages of Al-Mesherfeh and al-Zara in the northern Homs countryside. No casualties were reported in the both cases.

Pro-opposition sources reported on April 6 that some commander of the Syrian Arab Army was killed during the recent clashes in Hama without mentioning his name.

Clashes continued in Maardes that remained conteseted between pro-government forces and HTS militants. However, clashes in Maardes and Halfaya noticeably calmed down compared to yesterday’s fighting. Both sides are regrouping their forces and deploy additional pieces of military equipment.

The situation could also become more calm bause of a undeclared truce relating to the evacuation of civilians from Foaa and Kefraya in Idlib’s countryside. This move is set to be allowed by militants in return to the evacuation of civilians and militants from Zabadani in the Damascus countryside that will supposedly begin by the end of this week. Nonetheless, this version looks questionable.

From its side, HTS targeted civilians in Fou’a and Kafraya with more than 30 projectiles on April 6. Local forces defending the villages responded with a counter-battery hitting militant positions near Ta’um and Sawwaghiya.

The Russian and Syrian air forces and SAA artillery units continue targeting HTS-led forces in the northern Hama countryside preluding the expected offensive operations in both Ma’ardes and Helfaya. On April 7, government forces will likely make another push to regain some of these areas from HTS militants.

So Trump is planing to help HTS indirectly . HTS feels emboldened by this . They also restarted Daraa offensive . So much for fighting Islamic extremists by Trump

Daniel Castro

He was subdued, now they’re back to the original plan made by Hillary… well, at least Trump’s victory bought a few months to russians and syrians gain some ground.

Now we are marching towards World War 3 again… if that’s the case I hope russians burn the entire USA, Israel and NATO puppets into ashes.

US just sent 50 odd missiles into a Syrian air base. Russia quiet as is Iran and China. Looks like Assad is on his own. Assad should sink that US boat just off its’ shores that sent the missiles and destroy the US base in Syrian territory.

Daniel Castro

Russians are silent because they’re planning counter-attack, I’m guessing they will be sending their airforce back to Syria and bomb the hell out of jihadist positions in the next days, russians are in no position to show weakness at this point, Syria just can not fall, if it falls next will be Iran, and then Russia itself, strategists know this. I’m guessing the number of russian soldiers in Syria to increase, and in the next hours there will be a response with kalibr missiles. If that do not happen it will mean russians surrendered and there will be color revolution is Russia on the next months.

Logical what you say, Daniel. There definitely is more to this than what is let out. US and their coalition with Turkey need to be put down and if it means a major war then so be it because the longer this goes on the braver the US/NATO become. They need to be confronted.
