Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and the Free Idlib Army reached an agreement to stop the fighting between the 13th Division of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and HTS in the town of Ma’rat al-Nu’man in the southern Idlib countryside.
According to the agreement, the 13th Division will be disbanded and all the 13th Division positions and sites in Ma’arat al-Nu’man will be handed over to the Free Idlib Army.
The Free Idlib Army will hand over all the 13th division fighters wanted by HTS to a judicial committee to solve the disagreements in Ma’arat al-Nu’man.
The last condition in the agreement is that HTS will have to withdraw its fighters and checkpoints from the town of Ma’arat al-Nu’man.
Moreover, opposition sources accused HTS of arresting Colonel Tayseer Samahi from the 13th Division. Tayseer Samahi is the brother of Colonel Ali Samahi, who was previously killed by HTS.
The 13th Division was one of the FSA groups that has supported HTS in many battles since its establishment and is one of the groups receiving US TOW missiles. The division has provided a fire support to HTS during its attacks on the SAA. Moreover, HTS is expected to continue its policy of fully eliminating the FSA in Idlib province, where no group has dared to resist it until now.
This is what happens when al-Qaeda is allowed to be represented as freedom fighters. Eventually, terrorists turn their backs on their allies, and whole new fights occur.
This revolution was meant to destroy lives, not rebuild.
Down with the FSA!
what a bunch of faggots.
the west and israel are trying to give Syria to people which would sell their mothers rather than face death in combat. And they call themselves mujahadeens.
this speaks on how just of a cause is the one the moderate scum is “fighting”.
