Govt Troops Take Control Of Power Station South Of Palmyra

The Syrian Army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) have taken control of a power station located south of the ancient city of Palmyra, according to pro-government sources.

The power station had been controlled by members of the ISIS terrorist group.

Following the fighting in the power station area, the army and the NDF further advanced against ISIS units southeast of Palmyra. Clashes are ongoing.
