The Syrian army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) have successfully liberated from militants the industrial area between Tell Kurdi and Tell Sawwan in the Eastern Ghouta region near Damascus.
Following this success, the army and the NDF renewed attempts to liberate the nearby contested town of Rayhan. Clashes are now ongoing in its vicinity.
