Pro-government forces, including the Syrian Army’s Tiger Forces, the Desert Hawks Brigade, Liwa al-Quds and Hezbollah, continued successfully advances in the Hanano Nieghoborhood of Aleppo city that had been controlled by Jaish al-Fatah militant coalition (It incudes Jabhat al-Nusra, Nour al-Din al-Zenki and other ‘moderate’ roups). As result of these attacks the army and its allies seized about 80% of the neighborhood and now they are developing momentum in the area. The governnment advance in the Jabal Badro Neighborhood is another threat to militants in Aleppo. Most likely, Jabal Badro will fall into hands of the Syrian army after liberation of Hanano.

Massive airstrikes by the Syrian Air Force are one of the reasons of successull advances in Aleppo:

Government forces delivered another blow to ‘moderate rebels’, attacking Jaish al-Fatah militants in the Sheikh Lufti Neighborhood and in the Marjeh Neighborhood. The most notable gain of Syrian troops in the area is the so-called “Police Hill” (420 m) in the Marjeh Neighborhood.

The Police Hill is a key hilltop in Marjeh. If government forces are able to keep under their control, they will likely be able to secure the Sheikh Lufti – Marjeh axis.
