Germany receives first batch of legal refugees from Turkey

On Monday, The German government announced the arrival of the first batch legal refugees from Turkey.

16 people were transferred from the Airport by Buses which carried the legal refugees to their residential homes, as said by the Federation Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF).

According to Korina Fischer, a BAMF official, the Syrian families who arrived in Hannover today were anxious since they knew before the week that they would be flying from Turkey to Germany.

However, according to the controversial agreement between Turkey and EU signed at March 20, Ankara will be obliged to take back all refugees deported from Greece and EU will accept thousands of Syrian refugees directly from Turkey.

The agreement also stated that Turkey will start accepting the illegal on March 20 and Turkey will start sending refugees into the EU from April 4. In return, Turkey will get 6 billion USD in two installments. To meet the EU demand, Turkey has chosen the bloody path to control the influx of war-torn Mideast refugees.
