On February 7, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
Six of the videos show a series of drone attacks that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, including other drones, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.
Two more videos show recent attacks with Geran-type fixed-wing suicide drones. One of the strikes hit fuel storage facilities of Kiev forces near the settlement of Gubinicha in Dnipropetrovsk. Another targeted a gathering of Ukrainian troops in the settlement of Shevchenkove in Kharkiv.
Another video from Kharkiv shows a rocket attack on a deployment point of Kiev forces at a forest near the settlement of Liptsy.
In its daily briefing, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that missile, drone and artillery strikes hit “temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 158 areas” over the past 24 hours.
The ministry also said that Russian air defenses shot down one guided aerial bomb and 168 fixed-wing drones during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 670 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 112,882 drones, 650 air defense systems, 27,542 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,660 multiple rocket launchers, 33,133 artillery pieces, and 53,855 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
