On January 2, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
Eight of the videos show a series of drone attacks that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, including other drones, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.
An addition video shows an attack with multiple Geran-type fixed-wing suicide drones, at least five, on sites used by Ukrainian drone units near the settlement of Semenovka in the Chernihiv direction. Two warehouses used to store drones and related equipment were destroyed along with a drone launch system and support vehicles.
One more video shows another Ukrainian drone unit hiding inside a building in the settlement of Liman in the Donetsk direction getting targeted with a LMUR guided missile launched from an attack helicopter.
Another video from the direction of Sumy shows airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs on Ukrainian air defense sites near the settlement of Riasne.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 670 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 106,879 drones, 641 air defense systems, 26,845 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,634 multiple rocket launchers, 32,332 artillery pieces, and 50,625 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
