This map provides a general look at the military situation in the northern part of the Syrian province of Aleppo.
A hour ago, the Turkish army and pro-Turkish militant groups launched a fresh push to recapture the town of Bzaah from ISIS terrorists east of al-Bab. Heavy clashes are now ongoing in the area.
Last weekend, Turkish forces entered Bzaah but were pushed to retreat from the area after an ISIS counter-attack.
Meanwhile, the Syrian army and the National Defense Forces have been further developing their effort to close the pocket over the ISIS stronghold of al-Bab.
Strategically, ISIS terrorists in al-Bab are in a very bad situation.
