One of the cauldrons in the Kurakhovo direction was destroyed but the Armed Forces of Ukraine are already boiling in another one created on the southern Zaporozhie front.
Both Russian and Ukrainian military sources confirm Russian advance in several directions near Velika Novoselka. As a result, Ukrainian forces were almost surrounded in the village of Makarovka.
Ukrainian military reporters complained that the Ukrainian command did not allow the remaining Ukrainian forces to timely withdraw from the village of Makarovka located south of Velika Novoselka. They were threatened with encirclement after the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation took control of Blagodatnoe.
As a result, another group of Ukrainian soldiers was captured in a cauldron and the only way out is surrender to Russian forces.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are advancing in different directions in the region, threatening the entire Ukrainian grouping in the town of Velyka Novosilka with a pincer grip. The Russian military is using its favorite tactics that has proven its efficiency in the battles for Ugledar, Avdeevka, Kurakhovo etc. Clashes are already ongoing on the eastern outskirts of Velyka Novosilka, containing significant Ukrainian forces in battles. At the same time, Russian troops are encircling the town, as well as the villages southward, from three directions.
To the north, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are resisting in Novy Komar in an attempt not to allow Russian breakthrough to the west. Important road north of Velyka Novosilka was cut off. According to the latest reports from the battlefield, Russian forces expanded their zone of control on the southern outskirts of Novy Komar and destroy bridges and panton crossings across the Mokri Yaly river used for Ukrainian military supplies west of the village.
Southwest of Velyka Novosilka, Russian forces broke through Ukrainian defense and largely expanded their zone of control on the fields. Thus, Storozhevoe was also surrounded from the west.
