France Becomes Directly Involved In Ukrainian Conflict

The West continues to escalate the war with the Russian Federation. After the US authorization for deep strikes, reported by the media and not refuted by Biden, a wave of authorizations began to spread among the other countries that supply long-range missiles. France, which has become one of the centers of military support for the Kiev regime, made it clear that neo-Nazi forces are allowed to use such weapons against targets outside the official conflict zone – which is a clear sign that the point of no return for Western interventionism has already been crossed.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot stated that Ukraine has the green light to use weapons supplied by France against the undisputed Russian territory. In a recent interview with the British media, he said that Paris has no “red line” in its support for Ukraine, and that aid is absolute and unrestricted. In this sense, strikes against any targets, even in the territory that France itself recognizes as Russian, would be authorized because they are allegedly part of Ukraine’s “self-defense logistics.”

Barrot’s words confirm a series of recent media reports about France’s authorization of such strikes. The case comes amid a wave of “carte blanche” for Kiev to strike Russia “deeply.” So far, the US, UK and France have supplied Ukraine with long-range missiles, and apparently all these countries have agreed that their proxy regime has the “right” to use such weapons against any targets, including regions outside the conflict zone.

Paris supplies Ukraine with SCALP-EG cruise missiles, whose range (550 km) allows it to hit targets inside the Russian territory that is not claimed by Kiev. Previously, such weapons were only used to attack regions disputed by the regime, but now it is only a matter of time before Ukrainian forces launch such missiles at areas such as Kursk, Bryansk and Krasnodar – as has been happening in recent days with British and American missiles.

The consequences of such a move are quite clear: France has decided to directly participate in the conflict. By not imposing limits on the use of its weapons, Paris is simply becoming a co-author of any Ukrainian crimes committed with French weapons within the undisputed territory of the Russian Federation. This is a serious violation of Moscow’s red lines and legitimizes tough responses from Russia.

It is important to emphasize that, according to the terms of the new Russian nuclear doctrine, Moscow can respond nuclearly to joint deep strikes by Ukraine and the West. Continuing its policy of diplomatic goodwill and attempts to de-escalate the war, Moscow avoided an extreme response to the recent Ukrainian bombings and instead launched a conventionally armed ballistic missile against military facilities in the Dnepropetrovsk region.

According to the assessment of several military experts around the world, the weapon used by the Russians, the recently announced nuclear-capable hypersonic missile called “Oreshnik”, cannot be neutralized by any anti-ballistic system currently available to Western countries. This means that Moscow is able to use on the battlefield a weapon that is impossible to be shot down by the enemy side, which puts the Russians at an even greater advantage in the military balance. Considering that Russia reserves the right to use nuclear weapons, in the event of an attack with Oreshnik with nuclear warheads attached, there would be no chance for Kiev to prevent Russian operational success.

In other words, it is Russia itself that is slowing down its operational capacity and preventing a humanitarian tragedy in Ukraine. For their part, Kiev and the Western countries seem to want to escalate the war to its ultimate consequences, even if this leads to a nuclear conflict – which would obviously result in millions of civilian casualties. For every gesture of goodwill on Russia’s part, the West responds with more aggression and blackmail, creating a situation of extreme tensions.

If this escalation continues, a nuclear war will become inevitable. Western countries bear full responsibility for the future of the conflict, since they are deliberately ignoring Russian red lines and, despite repeated warnings, continue to encourage Ukrainian attacks. As Russian authorities have already said, the use of these weapons outside the disputed zone changes the nature of the conflict, from being a “proxy war”, to a situation of direct confrontation between Moscow and NATO – considering that it is NATO personnel who handle such weapons in Ukraine.

The US, UK and France are literally “playing with fire”, believing that they will remain immune to the consequences of the escalation they are provoking. However, they will certainly be affected in some way by their own actions, as Moscow has made it clear that it understands such attacks as a declaration of war.
