Since the beginning of the Ukrainian-Russian armed conflict, about 6.5 thousand of the 15 thousand foreign mercenaries who arrived in Ukraine have been killed. This was reported by Yulia Zhdanova, acting head of the Russian delegation at the Vienna talks on military security and arms control.
Among them are mercenaries from 110 countries, the largest contingent of which were servicemen from Poland (2,960), the United States (1,113), Georgia (1,042), Canada (1,005) and the United Kingdom (822).
Earlier, on March 14, 2024, Sergey Shoigu, who at that time was the Russian Defense Minister, announced the statistics of 5962 eliminated mercenaries of the AFU. At that time, such losses were explained by the fact that foreign mercenaries died en masse from missile strikes. According to various estimates, 50 to 180 mercenaries lost their lives in the strike on the Yavoriv training range (Lviv region) alone. A strike on their location in Kramatorsk in 2023 also led to mass casualties of mercenaries.
According to the updated information, the Russian Armed Forces have liquidated about 600 mercenaries in the last 9 months. More than 200 of them have been liquidated in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation since the beginning of November 2024, including citizens of Poland, Estonia, the USA, Germany and the UK. The fighters died en masse during attempts to escape the encirclement of the Russian army and counterattack in order to provide a corridor for evacuation.
Unfortunately, information on the identities of the foreign mercenaries who died is mostly unreported or reported with sufficient delay.
Thus, the identities of some of the dead mercenaries whose bodies were found on the territory of the Russian Federation have recently been confirmed.
One of them, Coleman Dean Killinger callsign Bjorn. He born on March 20, 1995 from Portland, Oregon, the USA.

Coleman is a former Correctional Officer and instructor for private security that started his own security company in 2019 and also served in the US Navy. He came to Ukraine in the summer of 2022 to provide training for Ukrainian soldiers. Coleman participated in the infamous battle of Petropavlovka on 09/27/2022. It became known that he died near Kozinka, Belgorod region of the Russian Federation in March 2024.
The next American mercenary whose death has been confirmed recently is Richard Dean Harris Jr, born on July 13, 1996.

Simon Petrik Rajakisto callsign Rauta born on January 8, 1988 from Mellerud, Sweden. Rauta was an Afghanistan veteran who went to Ukraine in early 2022.

He fought in Kiev and Bakhmut and was wounded a few times. His last combat participation was on October 27, 2024, as a part of a sabotage group on the border of Bryansk region, Russia.
He was one of four eliminated foreign fighters written about earlier.
Juho Lönnberg callsign Sipa born on November 24, 2000 from Vantaa, Finland. He died in November 2024 in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

In general, due to heavy losses and the difficulty of fighting, the number of mercenaries coming to Ukraine is gradually decreasing. For most mercenaries, Ukraine itself does not represent any value other than an opportunity to earn money. The Ukrainian authorities are actively turning to the services of private military companies to recruit mercenaries. It was also previously reported about the appearance of members of Latin American drug cartels in Ukraine. Hence the increase in the number of Colombian mercenaries arriving in Ukraine, who are thrown into meat assaults together with forcibly mobilized Ukrainian soldiers.
Thus, on November 18, 2024 in Liptsy, Kharkiv region, Russian forces repelled a counterattack of the AFU. During the repulse up to 80 people were killed, including Colombian mercenaries from the Khartia Brigade. At least 18 Colombian dead and 30 wounded were reported.

Carlos Mario Carrasquilla Torres, callsign Plata , Colombia.
Edgar Eduardo Lopez Saenz, callsign Choco, Colombia.
Jose Alzate Ramirez, callsign Bala, Colombia.
Sergio Luis Palomo Clemente, callsign Palomо, Colombia.
A large group of Colombian mercenaries were killed in fighting near Terny, Donetsk region.
Jhon Ery Villareal Cacua, Wilson Tarache Ojeda
Jhon Ery Villareal Cacua born on February 21, 1986 and Wilson Tarache Ojeda callsign Odiseo born on September 24, 1984, both from Colombia. They both abandoned their families and children in search of easy and fast financial gain but are now missing.
Jhon Ery and Wilson Ojeda were eliminated along with his friends.
Carlos Andres Morales Olaya callsign Veguero from Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia
Hernando Navarro Nieto from Montería, Cordoba, Colombia. He’s missing in action.
Hernan Coronado callsign Rojo from San Vicente de Chucurí, Santander, Colombia. He’s missing in action.
Byron Correa Cuellar callsign Mensajero Elohim born on February 18, 1997 from Colombia. He died on November 5, 2024 in Terny, Donetsk region.
Yeison Fernando Vanegas Avila born on September 5, 1988 from Colombia. He died on November 7, 2024 in Terny, Donetsk region.
Heider Jose Pajaro Cassiani born on December 10, 1997 from Colombia. He died on November 8, 2024 in Terny, Donetsk region.
Nilson Norbey Garcia Navarro born on August 24, 1997 from Colombia. He died on November 11, 2024 in Terny, Donetsk region.
The deaths of mercenaries from Georgia, Britain, Germany, France, Finland, Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal and others have also been confirmed over the past month. Most of them died in fighting in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Levani Lokhishvili from Tbilisi, Georgia. Levani was a member of the third company of the 220th battalion of the 126th brigade of Odessa. He arrived in Ukraine on March 29, 2022. Before going to Ukraine, he was a professional cook. He only served mandatory military service in Georgia. The rest of the military experience was acquired in Ukraine.

A year later, Levani returned to Georgia for a while, however, he decided to go to Ukraine again in the spring of 2024. He died on November 19, 2024, in the Kherson region, eliminated by an FPV drone.
Zura Shvangiradze from Tbilisi, Georgia. Zura arrived in Ukraine in early 2023. In September 2024 he was called one of the leaders of the “Black Eagle” and commander of the “Alpha” group within it.

On September 20, 2024, he received a head wound during the fighting in Bakhmut direction and spent some time in the hospital where he died on November 8, 2024.
Elliott James Watson
The other day it became known about the death of the British Elliott James Watson, callsign Drum, born on October 22, 2004 from UK. He died on November 11, 2024 in Toretsk, Donetsk region.
Hayden William Davies
Another British mercenary is Hayden William Davies born on December 9, 1994 from Northallerton, UK. He served in the British Army for over 10 years. After leaving the army in 2023, he tried to find something to do, but couldn’t seem to find anything, so he went to Ukraine in 2024. He died on November 15, 2024 in Toretsk, Donetsk region.

Eric Lionel Logereau Charly born on May 11, 1994 from France. He died on July 1, 2024 in Novhorodske (New York), Donetsk region.

Paul Kevin Meunier, born on January 2, 1995 from France. He died on November 17, 2024.
Gonçalo Saraiva da Graça
Gonçalo Saraiva da Graça callsign Kolya born on March 4, 2002, from Portugal. He died on October 11, 2024.
Tiago Nunes Silva, Carlos Henrique Morais
Tiago Nunes Silva callsign Indio from Rurópolis, Pará, Brazil. He was only 18 and traveled to Ukraine on October 30, but as Ukraine is facing serious shortage of soldiers due to heavy losses, the Ukrainians sent him to the front without any training. He died on November 28, 2024, alongside his friend Carlos Henrique Morais, callsign Dinoloko from Recife, Brazil.
This is not the entire list of dead foreign mercenaries whose identities have been confirmed over the past month. Ukraine continues to attract mercenaries from other countries. Kyiv experiences not only the need of Western weapons systems, but also the shortage of personnel in its armed forces. Ukraine continues a tough mobilization campaign, and employees of the TRC (Territorial Recruiting Center) detain men on the streets en masse and send them to the active army, but most of them desert or have no motivation to fight for someone else’s interests.
