According to a report by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), five fighters from an Islamic opposition group in Jobar district defected to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA). According to the report, the five fighters handed over their positions to the SAA and fled with their wives to the SAA-held areas.
The SOHR claimed that the five fighters had previously refused to join Jaysh al-Islam or Faylaq al-Rahman after the dispute between the two parties, and decided to fight under the command of the local council of Jobar district. However, the SOHR confirmed that they were receiving their ammunition from Faylaq al-Rahman in the recent period.
According to the report, Faylaq al-Rahman fighters launched an attack on the position which was handed over by the defected fighters to the SAA, and after intense clashes Faylaq al-Rahman managed to recapture it. A large number of opposition fighters in Qaboun had done the same, where they handed over strategic positions in the district to the SAA and withdrew.
It’s believed that the great disputes between Jaysh al-Islam and Faylaq al-Rahman, and the increasing influence of the HTS in the Eastern Ghouta, along with the siege by the SAA, have destroyed the morale of many opposition fighters, where internal fighting become more feared than the SAA.
Time to hand group valuable Intel then blame another group for having been the source!! Rat vs Rat
very nice, all glory, success, and spoils of war to SAA :)))))
Where are the tunnels should be the first question.
