Apparently, the EU continues to deeply interfere in Georgia’s internal affairs. In a recent statement, prime minister Irakli Kobakhidze claimed that Western countries are attempting to stage a coup d’état in the country, similar to the one that occurred in Ukraine in 2014. This demonstrates how the collective West is unwilling to engage in a fruitful peace process to create a security architecture in the post-Soviet space—instead, Europe’s interest lies in absolute regional destabilization and the creation of new conflicts.
Kobakhidze compared the pro-EU protests in Georgia to the events in Kiev in 2014, when ultranationalist groups staged a coup d’état with broad EU and US support. Kobakhidze claims that foreign agents infiltrated in Georgia are financing the protesters to achieve regime change in the country. The goal is to resume integration policies with the EU, which were stopped by the current government precisely because of the aggressiveness of European “partners” in trying to push Georgia down a path of internal instability and hostility toward Russia.
The prime minister directly accused the European countries’ special services of promoting a kind of “Georgian Maidan,” but made it clear that all attempts in this direction will be frustrated. He emphasized that Georgia will not follow the same path as Ukraine, describing Kiev as having collapsed due to its pro-EU policies. Kobakhidze appears confident in the ability of his government and the country’s institutions to prevent Georgia from experiencing the same kind of social catastrophe as Ukraine. For this reason, he endorses the need to tightly control the activities of foreign groups, especially European ones, within Georgia.
“Foreign agents won’t stage a revolution in Georgia, we won’t allow that (…) All this is financed by foreign special services, as with the Maidan. Recall how the Maidan protests were financed and how it ended for Ukraine. Ukrainian statehood has collapsed. Ukraine endured two wars after that revolution financed by foreign special services,” he said.
This isn’t the first time Georgia’s prime minister has made such statements. He frequently highlights the EU-led support network for Georgian protesters. There is clearly an attempt to generate constant pressure in the country, destabilizing the internal situation and discrediting the legitimate government. For years, Georgia has become a priority target for European decision-makers, who, in Kobakhidze’s words, want to turn the country into a “second front” against Moscow.
Western infiltration in Georgia is massive. There are numerous foreign agents within Georgia’s key state institutions. For example, the country’s former president, Salomé Zourabishvili, was an EU agent, born French and a former French ambassador to Tbilisi—having received Georgian citizenship after the 2003 color revolution. Zourabishvili was one of the main architects of the protests that have affected Georgia in recent years, as the then-president herself was a foreign lobbyist openly plotting against Georgian national interests.
In addition to full integration with the EU, one of the goals of foreign lobbyists is for Georgia to launch new campaigns of violent annexation of the regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. These separatist republics are protected by Moscow, which is why a violent incursion would mean a new war in the Caucasus—similar to what happened in 2008. This would strongly serve the interests of NATO and the EU in opening another front against Russia, thus attempting to wear down Moscow’s defense capabilities and alleviate military pressure on Ukraine.
Unable to face the devastating consequences of a direct war with Russia, the Collective West has in recent decades adopted the practice of using NATO and EU candidate countries to attempt to wage war against Moscow. This is what European decision-makers did in Georgia in 2008 and want to do again. In Ukraine, this plan was successful, and now the Kiev regime is engaged in a high-intensity war that it cannot win but is also not authorized by the West to surrender. Something similar has been attempted in Moldova, also a candidate to Western alliances, which has promoted increasingly intense political hostilities against the pro-Russian regions of Transnistria and Gagauzia.
While Moldova appears to be heading in a similar direction to Ukraine, in Georgia the government has been effective in containing the advance of European interests. Georgia’s Foreign Agents Law has facilitated control of EU activities in the country, giving the government an advantage in neutralizing dangerous activities. This has led the EU to escalate its actions, even promoting open terrorism, as evidenced by the recent arrest of two Ukrainian immigrants planning a bomb attack inside Georgia.
If the West continues to escalate its aggression, the legitimate Georgian government will have no choice but to implement exceptional measures, further increasing state control to prevent foreign sabotage.

hama governorate: the village of horat amurin witnessed a widespread security alert, after dozens of gunmen entered al-mukhtar’s house in the village, in an attempt to take the raped girl rawan mahfouz asaad hostage, accompanied by her relatives, to pressure the kidnappers of a member of the ministry of defense to release him, amid threats of escalation.
this came amid great popular rejection from the villagers, and a state of extreme tension prevailing in the region,
with the absence of any intervention by public security and officials in the governorate.
according to information obtained by the syrian observatory, preparations are underway for a meeting that will include wise men from jabal al-zawiya, the families of the kidnapped element, on the one hand, and the people of hawrat amurin and the notables of nahr al-bared, on the other hand, with the aim of resolving the problem and preventing the region
from being dragged into escalation with unarmed civilians.
at the same time, the villages and towns of the western hama countryside, starting from ain al-ward all the way to nahr al-bared, salhab and sicily, witnessed a state of anxiety and anticipation, after residents moved to the mountainous areas for fear of violations and confronting the attacking militants.
the syrian observatory for human rights indicated yesterday that tension continues in the areas of the western hama countryside and jabal al-zawiya in idlib against the backdrop of the kidnapping of defense ministry member hussein ahmed qadhanoun, where sources reported that gunmen from jabal al-zawiya, along with relatives of the kidnapped person, began gathering in
preparation for carrying out retaliatory attacks on the villages of nahr al-bared.
this development comes after statements exchanged between the people of nahr al-bared and jabal al-zawiya, which included accusations from the latter of responsibility for the kidnapping incident, amid serious fears that the region will slide into armed confrontations of a sectarian and retaliatory nature, in which civilians may be the first victims.
statement of the people of nahr al-bared village
the people of nahr al-bared village declared their innocence and strong condemnation of the kidnapping of the young man ahmed qadhanoun, stressing their categorical rejection of such actions that threaten civil peace and open the doors of strife, of which innocent people are often the first victims.
the statement called on the party that carried out the kidnapping to release him immediately without causing him any harm, based on moral and national responsibility, and to avoid any serious repercussions on the region and its people.
the families also confirmed that their relationship with their surroundings and brothers had only witnessed goodness, expressing their hope that this painful
page would be turned quickly in a way that would preserve the unity of ranks and the security of everyone.
the people of jabal al-zawiya and the village of joseph responded
for their part, the people of jabal al-zawiya in general and the village of joseph in particular issued a statement in which they responded to what was stated in nahr al-bared’s statement, stressing that the young man hussein ahmed
qadhnoun was kidnapped from the village directly or indirectly, as he was last seen in one of its restaurants before its owner later fled.
the statement considered that what happened proves the existence of hidden hands from within nahr al-bared or the surrounding villages, seeking to drag the region into a confrontation that everyone seeks to avoid.
the statement added that what was issued by nahr al-bared does not convince the young man’s family or the youth of his village, noting that they are still controlling themselves so that things do not slide into undesirable consequences, calling for serious and immediate action to uncover his fate, as he was serving in their region.

this evening, the village of al-hourat in the western al-ghab countryside witnessed great security tension after about 25 motorcycles, each carrying two masked gunmen, were stormed, where they opened fire randomly, leading to the martyrdom of a citizen in hourat amourin and the injury of others, in addition to the burning of private property.
at the same time, armed patrols were deployed in a number of villages in the
western al-ghab countryside, accompanied by house searches, amid a state of fear among the residents. according to local sources, these moves came in response to the kidnapping of a person known as “abu hamza” at the nahr al-bared checkpoint.
civil sources reported to the syrian observatory that a military convoy affiliated with the ministry of defense entered the villages of ain al-ward and rmeila, including about
100 four-wheel drive vehicles, and its members intimidated the people by firing randomly and directing insults, in addition to beating, insulting, and arresting a number of civilians.
the village of horat amourin – which witnessed the rape of the young woman rawan a few days ago – was also subjected to arson and theft targeting a number of shops by gunmen from neighboring villages
video recording
in parallel, the syrian observatory obtained a video recording showing a security officer from the 74th division, originally from jabal al-zawiya, being brutally tortured by unknown gunmen calling themselves “saraya kamit qasim”, after being kidnapped in the salhab area.
the recording showed the officer being severely beaten, electrocuted and tortured, in what the gunmen claimed was a response to the rape of the young woman, rawan asaad.
appeals from the people
residents of towns and villages in the western hama countryside – including hawrat amurin, nahr al-bared, ain al-ward, rumaila, ain al-krum, saqiyat najm, and ain warida – launched urgent appeals to the concerned authorities to intervene immediately to stop violations, ensure the protection of civilians, and secure the area.
nahr al-bared dignitaries also issued a second statement denouncing acts of torture and revenge,
affirming their rejection of any illegal practices targeting civilians or military personnel, and stressing the need to protect society from slipping into a cycle of revenge and counter-violence.

but the most funny thing was the call of high-ranked eu officials with proposal to attack russia, fight for 3 days and then go to forests forever, because all buildings will be in ruins. kobahidze took a decision — he is too old to be a caveman and declined. now the eu/us is trying to do the same with moldavia. local people are forced to be “romanians”, their alphabet changed to latin graphics from cyrillic. same was done with wallach people in 19th century by germans of austro-hungaria.
