On the night of February 25, another escalation of the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh republic (NKR) started. At the night, as usual, there were firefights and exchanges of strikes along the entire contact line. About 3 am local time, Azerbaijani military demined some part of the minefields.

Around 3:30 am local time, an Azerbaijani group, supported by armored vehicles and covered by mortar and artillery fire, tried to break through to Armenian defensive positions in the regions of Martuni (the south-eastern sector of the front) and Akna (the eastern sector of the front). The Defense Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh republic opened fire on the advancing enemy, killing five Azerbaijani soldiers. Their bodies were left lying on the neutral territory.

The attempt of an offensive of Azerbaijani military on the night of February 25 and the bodies of Azerbaijani soldiers, killed in the neutral zone:

The Azerbaijani side tried to hide the offensive, accusing Armenian military of attacks on its positions. In response, the Armenian Defense Ministry noted that the bodies not of Armenian, but Azerbaijani soldiers were lying in the neutral zone.

At the day of February 25, positional battles continued along the entire front. The Azerbaijani military leadership reported on destruction of an Armenian reconnaissance drone to the east of the village of Talish in the northern part of the contact line. The Armenian side denied this information.

On February 26-28, the firefight continued, but as before, escalation of the situation took place mostly at night. The NKR Army accused Azerbaijani military of active usage of heavy machine guns, mortars and the Israeli Spike antitank missile systems. Snipers operated at the both sides of the front.

On February 27, Azerbaijani servicemen managed to evacuate the bodies of their killed companions in arms “with participation of international observers.” The Armenian side accused the enemy of violating an agreement on exfiltration of bodies. On February 28, another Azerbaijani soldier Akhmedov Elvin Suleyman, who participated in the attempt to break through, died at a hospital from his injuries. The death toll of the Azerbaijani side increased up to 6 people.

In early March, intensity of the fire from the both sides remained quite high. The Azerbaijani side reported on destruction of a headquarters of the Armenian Armed Forces, located in the Khojavend direction, “as a result of retaliation” on March 1. Also, according to the Azerbaijani Military Department, on the night of March 2, an Armenian sabotage-reconnaissance group tried to attack Azerbaijani positions, located on the Agder-Terter part of the front, however, the group was eliminated.

The Armenian Defense Ministry denied information about the destruction of its headquarters and eliminating of its sabotage-reconnaissance group.

On March 2, firefights and exchanges of strikes again considerably intensified along the entire front line in the Nagorno-Karabakh republic. Azerbaijani military reported that they destroyed the Armenian X-55 reconnaissance drone. The Armenian side denied this information, but the Azerbaijanis provided a photo of the downed unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

On the night of March 3, the both sides executed fire on the enemy positions. All types of small arms, including large-caliber mortars, grenade launchers, artillery and rocket launchers, were used. Snipers operated. Despite the escalation, the sides do not undertake offensive actions so far.

another peacefull relationship between kebabs and christians

BL

Azerbaijan is a fake artificial state with a fake stolen name and fake made up history. It is far more illegitimate than Ukraine. It is literally ruled by a Zionist owned crime family:

Random guy

what does the word fake state mean?

BL

One that has no historical basis, is based on a false/made up identity, false/made up history, and in Azerbaijan’s case even based on a false stolen name. Just to demonstrate how fake Azerbaijan is imagine if a bunch of Black French speaking Canadians established their own small independent “state” on the territory of Canada and on the border with the United States, started calling themselves “French” and called their new country “New York”. That’s basically what Azerbaijan is in a nutshell.

Random guy

so the problem is the name?

BL

Did you not read my last comment? The problem is everything, from name, to identity, to history, to legitimacy. You can’t randomly create a state, make up a fake identity for its people and start making up false history and teaching it in schools. That’s basically what Azerbaijan is doing. They are teaching their citizens complete lies and made up facts in schools in order to justify their illegitimate existence. Watch the video I posted above to learn what I’m talking about.

Random guy

yeap… i dont watch one sided videos.
But what you are saying is interesting. However I couldn’t figure out the main point of your previous comment. So the problem is:
Name,
Identity – in terms of multi-ethnicity?
History – of people or state name?
Legitimacy – recognition by others?

BL

What the hell is a “one sided video”? The video is nothing more than a series of facts, all of which you can easily verify through a 10 minute search on any encyclopedia or history textbook.

Random guy

I am sorry to have claimed the video one sided, before watching it. But since you mentioned that it is based on the facts, I will not divide into every part (have no time for that), but will judge the credibility from the first sentence/”fact”.
“Azerbaijan is the phonetically transformed name of Atropatene”
This is a theory, not a fact. Here is another theory:
Azerbaijan is called a place where Azeri (or Azari) people live. For me phonetically this theory makes more sense. Here is the article with multiple scientific sources. http://www.iranicaonline.org/articles/azerbaijan-vii
Enjoy your reading.

BL

At this point I’m not sure if you’re trolling or just really stupid. The VERIFIABLE FACT that Azerbaijan is the phonetically transformed name of Atropatene is NOT a theory, it is a VERIFIABLE FACT easily proven by ancient documents, maps, and books. Even the most elementary amount of research will confirm that to you. The link you posted has nothing to do with the issue you raised. The link you posted discusses Azeri language, the issue you raised is about the origin of the name “Azerbaijan”. Those are completely different issues. So which is it “Random Guy”? Are you trolling or just stupid?

Random guy

If we are talking about the etymology of the name Azerbaijan, then the video is not a fact but theory. If we are talking about the existence of Azari people in the north of Arax river, again that is also proved by the link I have sent.
Don’t worry about it mate, i wasn’t hoping for much from the video anyways. It is like watching North Korean video about South Korea, or watching Iranian video about Israel. Its just a Moo point.

BL

OK yeah you’re just stupid

Random guy

It must be frustuating when propoganda you believe in does correspond with others’ opinions. Considering this, the fact that NK is considered by international community as Azerbaijani territory must be killing you.

It is hard for me to understand why you don’t see the obvious. What does name Azerbaijan seems to derive from Azari or Atropatena?

if you can’t see the obviuos, ignore my comment.

BL

Respond to my comment instead of babbling like an idiot. You posted the wrong article, I posted the one related to the issue you’re discussing.

Random guy

im busy now. ill respond after i have time to check it

BL

I think I just figured out what you’re trying to say. In your pathetic and childish stupidity you’re trying to say “Azerbaijan” comes from the word “Azeri” as opposed to the word “Atropatena”. If only you knew how retarded you sounded right now you’d be embarrassed. Yes of course Azeri is someone from Azerbaijan but the word “Azerbaijan” itself comes from the ancient word “Atropatena” as you will read in the article (If you bother reading it, which I doubt). So your comparison is completely irrelevant. You’re discussing a completely different issue, I’m discussing something else entirely. You obviously lack any sense of logic of reading comprehension. As I said it’s painful to even talk to you.

Random guy

then don’t, if you are in control of yourself. im not making you to talk to me.

BL

Good point, this is the only worthy thing you’s said so far and I’ve wasted enough time with your nonsense. Don’t bother responding anymore you’re now blocked. And next time if you don’t know anything about an issue don’t attempt to debate it.

Random guy

deal. good on ya mate

aurelius

listen BL how a jewish group can run a islamic state? I just hope the christian democratic world go to help the fellow armenias and decimate the heretics muslims
