Erdogan: Turkey Captured Al-Baghdadi’s Wife

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on November 6 that Turkey had captured the wife of former ISIS leader Abu Baker al-Baghdadi.

The Turkish President made the announcement while he was attending a ceremony marking the 70th anniversary of foundation of Ankara University’s theology faculty in the capital Ankara.

“I am announcing for the first time, we captured the wife of Baghdadi,” the Anadolu Agency quoted Erdogan as saying.

Erdogan also confirmed that the terrorist leader’s sister and brother-in-law were captured, without providing any details on the operation that led the arrests.

A day earlier, Turkish officials announced that Turkish forces had captured 65-years old Rasmiya Awad, 65, Baghdadi’s older sister, along with her husband and daughter-in-law in the northern Syrian town of Azaz. It remains unclear if the terrorist’s wife was captured in the same area.

Al-Baghdadi blew himself up on October 26, when U.S. Special Forces raided his hideout in northwest Syria. A woman thought to be one of the infamous terrorist’s wives was reportedly killed in the raid.

LOL, next they’ll be telling us they have his grandchildren locked up and ready for interrogation too.
Is Erdogan trying to play catch up to Trump, it sure seems like it, pretty sad comparisons though.
LOL what a moron, now we all know where Isis feels the safest, in Idlib and Aleppo under Erdogan’s management, or at least they did until this story broke.
