The lack of success on the front lines, the constant trench life under fire, and the death of comrades deprive soldiers of their humanity. Constant retreat on all fronts contradicts Kiev’s statements about its goal of returning to the 1991 borders. A natural human desire for revenge against the enemy arises. However, in the Ukrainian army, it crosses all boundaries.
Propaganda plays a significant role in undermining morale. For more than 30 years, the Ukrainian people have been told that Russians are inferior.
