On April 22, the US-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) in the Eastern Qalamun region handed over another batch of its weapons to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) under the evacuation deal, which was reached on April 19, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA). The new batch included at least three Soviet-made Strela-2 man-portable air-defense systems (MANPADs).
These MANPADs appear to be lacking power sources.

FSA fighters also handed over two US-supplied TOW anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) launchers with several TOW missiles along with ATGMs of other types, including the French-made MILAN.

The SAA also recovered several vehicles and trucks armed with 12,7\14.5\23\57 guns and a single BRDM-2 armored vehicles.
Earlier, FSA fighters handed over more than 37 battle tanks to the SAA on April 20.

Other military equipment including French-made portable communication systems and US-supplies ammunition were also recovered by the SAA from the local militants.

According to Syrian pro-government sources, the last batch of the US-backed FSA fighters will leave the Eastern Qalamun region towards northern Syria on April 22. More weapons are expected to be handed over during the departure of the last batch soon.
