Dozens Of Civilians Killed In Saudi-led Coalition Airstrikes On Al-Hudaydah (+18 Video, Photos)

On August 2, warplanes of the Saudi-led coalition conducted several airstrikes on the gate of al-Thawrah hospital and a small fishing port in the city of al-Hudaydah along the western Yemeni coast, according to the Yemeni al-Masirah TV.

A spokesman for the Yemeni Ministry of Health, Dr. Hakim Al-Kahlani, said that 52 civilians were killed and more than 100 others were injured as a result of the coalition’s airstrikes.

Commenting on the massacre, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, President of the Houthis-led Revolutionary Committee, said on Twitter that this incident “confirms for the thousand time that the leaders of the aggression reject peace.”

From it side, the Saudi-led coalition has not commented on the incident so far. Previously, the coalition ignored many similar incidents and declined to comment on them.

This massacre will for sure hinder the U.N. efforts to reaches a peaceful solution for the al-Hudaydah crisis. On the same time, the Saudi-led coalition will likely pause its attack on the coastal city temporarily in order to avoid any international pressure.

The death toll raised 55 with more than 130 injured. Number of casualties will rise further, unfortunately.

The leaders and decision makers of this coalition of terror aren’t humans. They knowingly and purposefully target hospitals, mosques, schools, weddings and funerals. I wonder if the pilots are Saudi nationals or foreigners from the US, UK or even Israel.
Whoever they are, I think it’s very important to know them, know the entire chain of command for such attacks. They should pay for deliberately targeting and killing of civilians (just like the Iraqi pilots and officers, involved in the bombing -chemical and conventional- of Iranian cities and civilians “mysteriously” paid the price). They must feel in their bones that there will be consequences for these crimes.
Rest in peace the victims, burn in hell eternally the perpetrators.

Saudi and UAE both regimes are the puppet regimes of US and UK. They have no religion they just pretend that they are Muslims. In the Quran I have read that if you kill one innocent person then it is like that you have killed all humanity.

These evils have butchered more than 12000 innocent civilians in Yemen. Even they have air stricken weddings, funerals, hospitals, mosques, markets etc. and the world other communities watching them like crocks. Not raising voice and not doing protests against brutality is a wickedness.

The article tells us in the final sentence that the coalition will likely pause its attack on the port city to avoid international pressure.

And what planet is the author of this article living on? The offensive was ‘paused’ end of June and was never resumed despite some recent talk of restarting the offensive. All the while the offensive is ‘paused’ to allow diplomatic efforts to succeed, the coalition continues it bombing campaign of civilian targets in the port – I suppose to help diplomatic efforts along. Now the offensive that is paused for diplomacy is paused (I guess double-paused) in order to not draw attention to the atrocities – as if this is a concern of the coalition – the coalition has been committing atrocities on a regular basis for three years without pause and now they are concerned?

The only concern is covering up the annihilation of their much vaunted assault force at the hands of Houthis. But their propaganda has a tendency of contradicting prior propaganda announcements and this one is a gem.

Advice to the Coalition: accept that you have lost and give the Houthis back their country… before they take yours.

Well said brother. God willing the days of Al Saud are numbered. I don’t think they will survive another decade.
