At the height of the day on February 15, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched another massive strike on peaceful streets of the Russian border city of Belgorod. According to preliminary official data, at least 6 people were killed, including a baby. At least 17 civilians were wounded, four of them are children.
Unfortunately, the number of victims is growing, as many of the wounded are in serious condition, and doctors are fighting for their lives. According to unofficial data, the death toll has reached 7.
The targets of the strikes were civilian facilities, including a supermarket, a school stadium, residential buildings and shops. This attack had no military sense only the terror of civilians.

Teh attack was launched from the area of Liptsy in the Kharkiv region. From there, the Il-76 with Ukrainian prisoners of war was shot down in late January. LINK
The Ukrainian Nazis shelled the city with Serbian 122-mm extended-range ER Grad 2000 missiles launched from the Czech RM-70 Vampire MLRS. Russian anti-aircraft gunners intercepted some of them, but the rest hit civilian targets. The Russian Defense Ministry said that Russian air defense destroyed 14 shells fired by the Czech MLRS Vampire in the Belgorod region.

The weapon was not chosen by chance, but in order to enhance the media effect of the attack. The terrorist Kiev regime was waiting to see the headlines “Serbian missiles to kill Russian children.” February 15 is Serbia’s National Day, a major national holiday.
Such symbolism is not so important to Kiev as to its patrons in NATO. The British are especially fond of such details, who, with other Western “partners” of the terrorist Kiev regime, have important geopolitical plans to break up Moscow and Belgrade. This is not the first time that NATO has tried to ignite a scandal about the use of Serbian missiles by the Ukrainian army. Earlier, the Polish services distributed fake documents of the alleged purchase of Serbian ammunition by Kiev, but this fake was fastly exposed.
Indeed, a certain number of Serbian missiles is in service with Kiev’s forces. They were obtained not through direct purchases, but through third countries. These Serbian-made missiles with modified markings have previously been seen in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They are capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 40 km (approximate distance from Liptsy to Belgorod), unlike standard ones with a range of up to 20 km.

The Russian Foreign Ministry called on the international community to condemn the terrorist action of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Belgorod.
“It is obvious that the Kiev Nazis, suffering failure after failure on the battlefield, barbarously take out their anger on peaceful Russian citizens. The recent terrorist attack by Ukrobander vandals has once again highlighted the criminal role of the “collective West” led by the United States, which continues to pump the fascist regime with deadly weapons, which it turns against innocent civilians.” – the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
The UN once again called for stopping attacks on civilian facilities and infrastructure.
The last Ukrainian massive attack on Belgorod took place at the end of December 2023. Then, 14 people were killed, two of them children, 108 were injured, and large-scale damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure was recorded throughout the city as a result of the shelling. LINK
