Despite SDF Efforts, Settlement Underway In al-Hasakah, Damascus And Aleppo

For 23 days successively, settlements held by the Syrian government are still going on in the center of al-Sabkha town.

A well-informed source reported that dozens of wanted civilians who are running from conscription and reserve recruitment have rushed to the settlement centers.

The source added that these civilians broke through SDF road blocks, that were built to impede the reconciliation and settlement process, noting that dozens come everyday to the settlement centers in spite of SDF attempts to hinder them.

The number of the partakers in the settlements center of “al-Sabkha” in Raqqa countryside have reached 2732, knowing that these settlements began since 12th January, according to the source.

On the other hand, the Syrian government extended the settlement agreement deadlines in “al-Kiswah” in the southern countryside of Damascus.

A field source mentioned that the deadlines for joining the settlement have been extended for one more day to allow those who wished to join settlement but were unable to do that due to diverse circumstances, noting that the settlement includes all the wanted civilians and military personnel fleeing form the military service.

Parallel to that, the settlement procedures in “Maskanah” district in Aleppo eastern countryside, that include facilitations proposed by the Syrian government to the farmers and peasants to let them bring their cattle and farming machinery and restore their normal life in their areas.

The Syrian government is working on making settlements in all provinces to enhance security and stability and restore normal life conditions for citizens in their areas.
