يبدو أن الحكومة المؤقتة المدعومة من الإسلاميين في سوريا تستعد للحرب مع قوات سوريا الديمقراطية (قسد)، التي تسيطر على مساحات واسعة من الشمال والشرق من البلاد بدعم من الولايات المتحدة.
تم رصد انتشار اثنتين من أكبر تشكيلات الجيش السوري على طول جبهة مع قسد في ريف حلب الشرقي في العاشر من أغسطس.
أظهرت مقاطع فيديو منشورة على الشبكات الاجتماعية قوافل متعددة تضم مئات، إن لم يكن آلاف، من الجنود من الفرقتين 60 و72 وهي تتجه إلى الجبهة. بدت القوات وهي مجهّزة بالكامل، مع صواريخ موجهة مضادة للدروع، وبنادق آلية مضادة للطائرات الثقيلة، ومطلقات صواريخ متعددة.
لاحقاً نفت وزارة الدفاع السورية أي انتشار، وادعت بأن الفرق كانت تقوم فقط بـ“تمرين عسكري” في جزء آخر من حلب.
«لقد تداولت بعض منصات وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي لقطات فيديو تُظهر تمريناً عسكرياً للجيش العربي السوري جنوب حلب، وأنه جرى تداوله كحركات عسكرية جديدة. في ضوء ذلك، نوضح أن ما أبلغت به قناة العربية وعدد من وسائل الإعلام في هذا الشأن غير دقيق ولا يعكس الواقع»، كما جاء على لسان المكتب الإعلامي في الوزارة.
جاءت هذه الخطوة فقط بعد يوم واحد من إعلان الحكومة السورية أنها لن تشارك في اجتماعات مع قسد في فرنسا، والتي كانت مقررة لمناقشة اتفاق وقّع في مارس لدمج المجموعة ضمن مؤسسات الدولة بما فيها المؤسسة العسكرية.
كشف مصدر حكومي لوكالة الأنباء السورية العربية الحكومية (سانا) أن دمشق لن تشارك في مفاوضات مع أي طرف يهدف إلى “إحياء عهد النظام السابق”.
كان القرار استجابة لمنتدى استضافته المجموعة بقيادة الأكراد في 8 أغسطس، والذي دعا إلى مراجعة الإعلان الدستوري الذي صدر في وقت سابق من هذا العام من قبل الرئيس السوري أحمد الشعار.
كما انتقد المشاركون الحكومة بسبب حملتها الدموية على أساس طائفي في الساحل في مارس، وعلى السويداء لاحقاً في يوليو.
«الإعلان الدستوري الحالي لا يلبي طموحات الشعب السوري … ينبغي مراجعته لضمان وجود عملية مشاركة أوسع وتمثيل عادل في الفترة الانتقالية»، كما جاء في البيان الختامي الصادر عن المنتدى.
اتهم المصدر الحكومي المجموعة بقيادة الأكراد باستضافة “أشخاص انفصاليين يشاركون في أعمال عدائية”، مع تحميل قسد المسؤولية الكاملة عن تبعاتها، بما في ذلك إعادة فرض العقوبات و“استدعاء التدخل الخارجي”.
أيضاً في 9 أغسطس، اتهمت قسد ما وصفتها فصائل مدعومة من الحكومة بمهاجمة مناطق في شمال وشرق سوريا أكثر من 22 مرة.
قالت المجموعة في بيان إنها تقيّدت بممارسة ضبط النفس خلال هذه “الاعتداءات”، وأن استمرار مثل هذه الهجمات “يهدد الثقة المتبادلة ويقوّض التفاهمات”.
من الجدير بالذكر أن تقريراً نشرته AL-Monitor في اليوم نفسه كشف أن تركيا لعبت دوراً في قرار دمشق عدم حضور الاجتماعات في فرنسا. أنقرة، الحليف الرئيسي للحكومة المدعومة من الإسلاميين في سوريا، تعتبر قسد امتداداً لحزب العمال الكردستاني وتعدّه تهديداً للأمن القومي.
مع عدم ظهور رغبة الحكومة السورية في الدخول في محادثات مع قسد، يبدو أن مواجهة عسكرية بين الطرفين أمر حتمي.
من المؤكد أن أنقرة ستدعم الجيش السوري. ومع ذلك، يمكن للولايات المتحدة التخلي عن قسد من أجل بناء علاقات أقرب مع دمشق. ومع ذلك، فإن المجموعة التي تضم أكثر من 100,000 مقاتل ستشعل بلا شك قتالاً.

this is clearly an oppurtunity for russia to work with american forces in syria, the new regime is an older regime of terror much more deadly against the multiethnic diversity of syria and the region. this is not a nato fight, turkey and us/russia can exchange hostilities support the syrian people, the new internationale.

the difference is that there are many sunni arab tribes in the sdf that will switch sides. the new syrian government can easily get raqqa and some of the oil fields back. kurds are only a majority in the qamishli area.
suweida is mostly druze, and not sunni.
druze have for decades stood up to foreign occupation, in fact they led the syrian revolt against the french.
whats happening over there is theatrical, the “druze” soldiers came out of israel, they were literally israelis, as for the bedouin, they came from outside the city itself, likely affiliated with al sharra.
