On July 29, the Russian governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo declared that the air defense of the Russian Federation shot down 12 Storm Shadow missiles that attacked the railway to the Crimea.
The massive attack with expensive foreign missiles aimed at destroying the railway but it failed. The local authorities confirmed some minor damage to the railway facilities by wreckage of the missiles but the Ukrainian military did not disrupt the railway traffic.
“Last night, the militants of the Kiev regime attempted to destroy the railway between the Kherson region and Crimea, firing 12 long-range Storm Shadow missiles. All the missiles were shot down by our air defense. In one place, the fallen fragments of expensive foreign weapons, handed over to the Kiev clique by the West for “peaceful purposes”, slightly damaged the booth of track walker and the attachment line. By the time I write these words, the damage has already been repaired by the repair team,” the governor wrote in his Telegram channel.
In their turn, the local Ukrainian media proudly declared that strikes with Storm Shadow missies in the Kherson region were aimed at disrupting the communication with the Crimean peninsula. However, attacks on the railway could only disrupt the traffic for several days. In fact, the real goal of the attack was to gain the headlines in the media. The Kiev regime wasted dozens of millions dollars of Western tax payers for hype but again failed to achieve any victories.
Kiev has been constantly declaring the amazing effectiveness of these “super missiles”. However, immediately after the Ukrainian Army began using Storm Shadows on the frontlines, it turned out that they are easily intercepted by Russian air defense forces. Moreover, the attack on the railway in the Kherson region demonstrated that the Russian air defense can easily cope with large group targets of the most modern NATO missile weapons.
they are demanding more expensive western weapons, only to be easily obliterated by russia. how long can the west continue supplying massive military aid to ukraine
forever at this little expense, bang for buck best value war since gulf war 2.
i agree, let’s keep going, the more ukrainians killed the better, lol
from which planes are they launching?
good point and where from?
2 days ago russians declared to have destroyed the su 24 adapted for s shadow missiles. so atleast 3 to 6 bombers survived, or there were nato planes?
ask igor konashenkov, according to his statistics 500% of ukrainian airforce destroyed ages ago.
poland and slovakia supplied at leat 15-20 mig 29
mig 29 not relevant concerning storm shadow missles… mig 29 is indeed a beautiful aircraft, but unless ukrainian airforce finds magic way to fit storm shadow to it,it is a no plane/ aircraft.
russia needs to hit those missiles before they are used.
russia is as impotent as putin. it/ he would if it/he could.
if russia is impotent what does that say about the ukrainians. guess there all gender neutral
prangs and prangs!
uk taxpayers being ripped off by con men especially rishi the sunak and war criminal boris
over 25 million pounds worth of garbage neutralised. more of a storm in a teacup—a shadow of what was much vaunted by uk regime.
when will uk electorate wise up to punish at elections.
the uk is a faux democracy controlled via a government of occupation. dumping quisling sunak and electing quisling starmer = electing blair, brown & mandelson thus foreign policy will remain as is directed by the us and counter to the national interest.
tomsucker:
in the summer of 2024 i’ll be having an ice cream in the crimean clowns with budanov…
dream on flathead, ukraine wont issue u a visa to than russen free crimea.
. i am looking forward to summer holiday there, it will be a blast, just like i expierenced flathead free skiing 🎿 in swiss alps this winter and now in beautiful monaco. i thank putin every time for smo, finally no criminal mafia oligarchs and their bitch barbie flathead “wifes”. holiday like in the good ole days.
hey mor look, a bull shitter
each storm shadow missile costs $3m. the brits managed to make the u.s. look efficient.
bull s#@t that £1million+ ultra high precision missiles were aimed at a railway track!
those missiles were following the convoluted route to sevastopol and the rear ammo dumps the last 2 took (and although one was shot down one hit an ammo store don’t forget).
those 12 missiles were for high value and high profile targets only.
i can’t’ understand the pretending being done, unless some got through and hit a classified target / decision making centre.
%100 direct hit: ukraine shot crimea with storm shadow and completely destroyed 1 russian battalion!
it makes you wonder whether zelensky is working for the russians.
always send a return gift to the builders of such things as a way of acknowledging one’s responsibility among nations. i recommend something with a high number of re-entry parts for a wonderful visual display worthy of remembrance of the day it arrives.
a “failure”, and yet the rf authorities closed the chonhar bridge anyway? there must have been some success.
😉🤫 rashniks are unable to think by themselves, facts hurt their flathead vaccum otherwise know as brain. according to the flatheads they are winning, all is going like planed, there are biolabs, nazis, caught nazi generals and the dollar is about to fall+ in sunny bunny’s + others case watersports.
anyway, closed for inspection. today it is open for traffic. failure? yes! the bridge is still there and still whole and functional, right!?
that bridge is a very tempting target, so the russians protected it. that missile is slow and therefore a very easy target for russian air defense. of course, the russians repelled that attack. what the average westerner cannot get out of his head is the battlefield where dozens of nato missiles are attacking one sam of a small country, where of course there is no chance against that attack. with the russians, it’s “a little different”…
