Сlashes erupted between protestors and police after thousands took to the streets of major French cities, protesting against the government’s decision to bypass a parliamentary vote on a controversial labor reform and approved it with an edict.
The protesters gathered outside the National Assembly building in Paris with placards “Democracy, where are you?” and earlier quotes from President Francois Hollande condemning the very article of the constitution used by the government on May 10.
