China has demonstrated its new research in the field of helicopter-type drones. These are rescue drones for transporting emergency victims or wounded soldiers on the battlefield. The copter is equipped with special stretchers.
During the copter tests, the injured person was simulated by a mannequin weighing 80 kilograms.
The drone currently has an operating radius of 2-3 km.
The flight with a mannequin was quite successful. The next test is expected to involve a person. For the military, there will be a version with a special protective box made of lightweight but bulletproof material for protection against small arms. However, it is still unclear how the passenger rescue system will be organized in the case of failure of the drone’s systems.
