At least, 13 people [SF editor: According to some reports, 15] have been injured after a car bomb struck a police vehicle near the center of Turkey’s city of Diyarbakir on May 10.
According to Hurriyet, all of injured are police officers. The blast also damaged several nearby buildings.
The city of Diyarbakir is the unofficial capital of the Turkish Kurds.
It has seen a significant amount of violence in recent months, after Ankara launched an offensive against the “Kurdish militants” in the country’s southeast.
