On Wednesday, a car bomb hit Ahrar al-Sham’s headquarters in the town of Armanaz in the proince of Idlib. According to pro-opposition sources, the explosion resulted in multiple casualties among Ahrar al-Sham members and civilians.
At the same time, reports appeared that Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) seized Armanaz from Ahrar al-Sham after series of firefights.
Clashes also continued between HTS and Ahrar al-Sham in the areas of Sarqeb, Dana, Sarmada and Atarib.

On Tuesday, HTS attacked Ahrar al-Sham in Hizareen and seized the village. This attack led to a large-scale escalation between the two militant groups.
