On December 15, several videos documenting some of the Russian military’s recent operations against Kiev forces surfaced online.
Nine of the videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones, and interceptor drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, across several directions within the special military operation zone over the last few days.
Another video shows a strike with a Lancet loitering munition that targeted a Ukrainian air defense system near the settlement of Novgorod-Seversky in the Chernihiv direction.
Two more videos show an airstrike carried out by an attack helicopter using an LMUR guided missile against a Ukrainian position in the settlement of Shiykovka in the Kharkiv direction, and an attack with a Tornado-S guided artillery rocket on a high-rise building occupied by Kiev forces in the city of Huliaipole in the direction of Zaporozhye.
One more video shows a joint strike with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs and fixed-wing suicide drones, most likely of the Geran-type, on a key bridge near the settlement of Zatoka in the Odessa direction.
In its daily briefing, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that missile, drone and artillery strikes hit “transport infrastructure facilities involved in delivering Western-made weapons, ammunition, fuel depots, temporary deployment areas of the AFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine) and foreign mercenaries in 167 areas” over the past 24 hours.
The ministry also said that air defenses shot down during the same period a Grom-2 tactical ballistic missile, 17 HIMARS artillery rockets, and 545 fixed-wing drones.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Kiev forces have lost 669 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 103,182 drones, 639 air defense systems, 26,546 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,631 multiple rocket launchers, 31,915 artillery pieces, and 49,076 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
