The attack on Tower 22 occurred on 28 January. Three people died. Who killed them?

This is who:

The Hypocrite in Chief is responsible for these young people being in a place they never should have been, involved in illegal operations – namely the occupation of Syria— a crime under international law— and helping provide support for ISIS terrorist groups, now making a resurgence in the region.

The US has occupied the nearby Al-Tanf Base on the Syrian side of the border since 2015 and has used it to arm and train ISIS militants. The US and allied intelligence agencies used ISIS to attack the Syrian and Iraqi armies as part of its effort to effect regime change in Damascus starting in 2011 and to depose Iraqi prime minister Nouri al-Maliki in 2014.

Joseph Biden has blood on his hands. The three soldiers—and thousands of women and children and infants in Gaza, not to mention innocent civilians in Ukraine and Russia.

This monster is running for reelection– and if he becomes president again – well then the country deserves him.

In order to look tough, Genocide Joe ordered retaliatory strikes “against Iran” – which he said were in the interests of peace, Iran being the Big Bad in the script.

Of course, the US did not attack Iran itself. There were 85 strikes on seven sites in Syria and Iraq, targeting Syrian and Iraqi forces using Iranian weapons. They also US weapons sold on the black market by Ukrainians. But you don’t hear much about that, do you. Wonder why?

Ironies abound.

The support provided by Iran is far less than the support offered by the US to the neo-Nazi regime in Ukraine.

The Syrians want the Americans out. The Iraqis want the Americans out. The Americans are staying in, violating international law. Call it “International Home Invasion”. If an ordinary person does it, it’s a crime. If the US does it, it’s politics.

January 29, one day after Tower 22, the US announced sanctions on Iraq’s Al-Huda Bank which does business with Iran, accusing it of financing terrorists.

The Iraqis responded:

The Finance Committee in the Iraqi parliament made a statement on 31 January calling for the sale of oil in currencies other than the US dollar, aiming to counter US sanctions on the Iraqi banking system.

As you know, the dollar became a reserve currency thanks to its use in the oil trade. If Iraq ditches the dollar, it separates itself de facto from the US financial system and will need support in BRICS. But the dollar’s status will be weakened.

January 18, Iran and Russia concluded a 20-year mutual cooperation pact which provides for transfer of military technology and assistance.

This comprehensive agreement encompasses crucial provisions facilitating the transfer of cutting-edge military technology from Russia to Iran. Specifically, designated personnel from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) will undergo advanced training on a range of sophisticated Russian missiles, including but not limited to the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal, the Iskander M, the RS-26 Rubezh, the BrahMos3, and the Avangard. This transfer of knowledge and weaponry is poised to elevate Iran’s military capabilities significantly. A noteworthy aspect of the deal is Iran’s strategic objective to domestically manufacture 30 percent of these missiles, a move that not only bolsters its self-sufficiency in military production but also marks a substantial enhancement in its overall military prowess.

The 21st International Meeting on Syria, held in late January in Astana in Kazakhstan between Iran, Russia and Turkey with observers from Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon as well as the UN, called for Israel to cease attacks on Syria and American withdrawal.

No matter – the US will likely double down on its failures even more, with predictable results. But the Pentagon will never allow a full-scale war which it would lose – whatever wet dreams Tony Blinken, Sullivan and Nuland share.

The retaliatory strikes therefore were really just election-year PR. They accomplished nothing of strategic or tactical importance and led to three strikes by the IRI just hours later.

There are no verified reports of Iranian personnel dying in the strikes—and it seems the resistance forces suffered very little damage, forewarned by the Americans themselves. Most of the dead were likely civilians.
