On September 7, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continued their military operations in the Kharkiv region aimed to establish tight control over the roads north of Balakleya in order to turn their tactical successes into operational ones.

During the day, Ukrainian forces launched several attacks near Balakleya in an attempt to surround the town in several directions.

Balakleya is still under the control of Russian forces, the AFU bypassed the town in the south and north, without getting involved in heavy street battles. Fighting is ongoing on the northern side of the city. The AFU still hold control of the western part of the Verbovka village located on the north-eastern outskirts of the town.

In the evening, several Russian military sources reported that allegedly Russian troops were retreating from Balakleya. Russian reserve units managed to broke through the operational encirclement of Balakleya to support the allied forces who have been fighting in the town for two days under heavy enemy fire. Currently, the wounded are being evacuated in an organized manner. Some sources deny reports that the Russian units are leaving their positions.

On September 7, Russian military reports were working in Balakleya. They showed the destruction in residential areas caused by the Ukrainian shelling:

To the north of the town, the road leading to Volokhov Yar was cut by the AFU in several areas. Fighting along this highway was reported in the area of Semenovka and Shevchenko. Control of Shevchenko paves the way for the offensive on Kupyansk. So far, Russian forces have managed to repel Ukrainian attacks in Shevchenko and hold control of the settlement. At the same time, the AFU are transferring reinforcements to the area likely aiming to take control of key transport arteries and forming a springboard for a further offensive on Kupyansk. The AFU have been shelling Kupyansk from the HIMARS MLRS for the second day.

Ukrainian tanks on their way to Balakleya:

The AFU show captured Russian positions south of Balakleya:

To the south of Balakleya, the AFU took control of the villages of Bayrak and Novaya Gusarovka, continuing their advance towards Zaliman and Savintsy. From Savintsy there is a direct road to the Chuguev-Izyum highway, leading to the rear of the Russian grouping in Izyum. If the AFU manage to cross the Seversky Donets river and advance towards Kunye, the Russian grouping in Izyum region will be threatened and Russian forces deployed in Balakleya will be cut off from supplies. The AFU are also concentrating forces in the area of the village of Dolina in order to strike at the Russian grouping in Izyum from the south.

The AFU shared video from Novaya Gusarovka:

The situation in the Kharkiv region remains tense. The both sides put their reserves to the front lines. The hastily transferred reserves of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation entered the battle, which repelled the attacks and did not allow the enemy to take Shevchenko. The Ukrainian command is transferring reinforcements and plans to resume strikes in order to take control of the road network north of Balakleya and create a springboard for an offensive on Kupyansk.

According to approximate estimations by Russian military reporters, the Ukrainian military command deployed about 9 thousand servicemen in offensive operations in the Kherson region. About 20% of them are foreign mercenaries.

The video shows Russian prisoners. Foreigners are heard speaking behind the camera:

The attack on the Izyum direction was being prepared in parallel with the attack on the Kherson region, where about 15 thousand servicemen were deployed. Having failed with the Kherson offensive, the AFU, as it was expected in advance, attempted to break through Russian defences in several areas near the city of Kharkov. where the offensive attempts were thwarted. Then, a large-scale offensive operation was launched near Balakleya. So far, successfully.

It remains unclear why the Russian military command failed to prepare their defences in the Kharkiv region as the AFU have been reinforcing their positions in the area for quite a long time and the plans of the Ukrainian military were quite evident. Russian losses in Balakleya pose a significant threat to the entire Russian grouping in the Izyum area. Russian units lost the possibility to enlarge their control zone on the northern DPR front lines and approach towards Ukrainian positions in the strategically important cities of Slavyansk and Kramatosrsk. The stated goal of “liberating the entire DPR territory” is now under threat.

🆕🔥🔥🔥AFU losses in Kherson offensive are 5 times higher than Russian, – Washington Post
“We lost five men for every one they lost,” Igor, a 30-year-old AFU platoon leader, who injured his back when his tank fell into a ditch, told the Washington Post🔥🔥🔥

There is something dodgy about all of this because the western mainstream media is basically using the same wording PLUS, these Ukie wins make no sense to me at all, as they are a busted flush.

As well as the foreign policy.

GREATWARRIOR

Great operation prepared and executed by Ukrainian forces. Even when russia was expecting a second offensive from zapparosia or jarkov they were unable to predict the exact location. Don’t even have reserves to close the breach. Now when russian forces are trying to stabilize the front the questions is if russia have enough troops to execute offensive operations on the south? Or should be moving the forces to hold the breach?
Take months gain a km to lose a lot of them in hours. Very bad everything, not doubt something to learn from.

Very bad everything with thousands of Ukrainian casualties in the failed Kherson operation and a tiny Ukrainian salient at Volokhov Yar?

Ukrainian dying for Jews

Ukrainian soldiers with “severed limbs, shrapnel wounds, mangled hands and shattered joints” told the Post about the “lopsided disadvantages” the Ukrainian army faces on the Kherson front. The Russians have more and better artillery, Iranian drones that can fly with impunity a kilometer high, and counter-battery radars that can call fire on Ukrainians’ heads within minutes, according to the US outlet.

Russian troops even hack and hijack Ukrainian drones, which “drift away helplessly behind enemy lines,” the paper said.

“We lost five people for every one they did,” Igor, a 30-year-old platoon leader with a back injury, told the Post.

“When we turn on mobile phones or radio, they can recognize our presence immediately,” another soldier named Denis said. “And then the shooting starts.”

Vritron

I only hope this is for real.

This is serious, this whole operation puts in peril the entire izyum salient, also gives a PR victory to the globalist, helping spearhead the transfer of far more weapons and aid to the failed kiev regime, also those Russian prisoners will be tortured raped and killed, that’s what the ukros do, and the worst is that this offensive was carried actually by a tiny fraction of ukies, showing that the Russians have a serious fuck-up on surveillance, and put tiny amount of soldiers guarding this flank, for example OMON and SOBR are great SOF in urban room to room clearing but like American SWAT suck ass against heavy equipment and tanks, this is a major fuck up, heads should roll in command for this, this will lengthen the war and demonstrates Russia doesn’t have what it takes to win this war, 7 monts and still have it cotton gloves on, this also shows putin and shoigu are all talk but no action. PUTIN must not have started this war if it didn’t want to win it. He is more preoccupied about his political status than to win this, he must take the gloves off, accept backlash at home, win this shit he started and GTFO once this war is finished, but how things are going my grand children still be hearing about this stupid conflict, you must follow the Collin Powell doctrine, go all in hard or don’t do shit.

Dave

There weren’t ‘thousands’ of casualties in the Kherson offensive. Most Russian soldiers fought than ran bc of insufficient numbers. Later they consolidated. It’s a long frontline and Russia doesn’t have the manpower to be everywhere. That’s the simple reality. Casualties are much lower than reported.

Rayan

It’s boring to repeat that the main problem of Russia in this war is the insufficient manpower deployed around so many fronts. It’s shameful seeing these tatical setbacks and so much stuck forces.

Political leadership in Russia doesn’t seem to be taking this seriously, while Putin is in the far east trying to pretend like it’s business as usual, Pentagon-led nazi gangsters now have more Russian soldiers to castrate.

What the fuk is Mr. Putin doing. Send more men and fire power to finish this “special operation”, that has turned into a bloody war. Afraid of killing NATO instructors or happy to see young Rusians dying?? Get fukin serious. This is not a special operation any more.

Bomb the decision making centers. Don’t be like the Chinese, they say they will not allow no one to split Taiwan, but they allow NATO to cruise with their battle ships around Taiwan.. Get real. True Rusian heroes are dying.

Well Russia as a super power should fight like a superpower. When it is fighting 750,000 Ukrainians, it is very stupid to fight them with just 250,000 Russians and Donbass forces. Russia needs to up its game and put at least half million to 600,000 soldiers and finish the Ukraine NAZIS once and for all. Remember the west fights seriously and they are training several thousands of Ukrainian NAZIS every few months and they are sending weapons all the time. For Ukraine it is fighting with little cost to its finances. The west is serious and Vladimir Putin has to be serious too. He stopped the war half way in 2014. Okay, he might be too scared of the west at that time. Now Russia has new hypersonic weapons and it should be serious and fight with overwhelming force and finish of Ukraine Nazis. If Russia looses this war to Ukraine, There will not be a country called Russia because the west will be emboldened and invade and conquer Russia. Special military operation nonsense doesn’t work. They need to bring very large number of soldiers and finish the war. The western colonizers are doing war against Russia in Ukraine. Russia has to do real big war not special military operation.

I think he’s concerned that NATO will attack him on his flanks if he commits more troops to the Ukraine operation. I upvoted you because I agree with you in a sense, but West is not to be trusted. They tried to commit a false flag with the nuclear attack just recently, but fortunately Russia averted this.

I’m confused, most pro Russian commenters on here are blatantly racist, hating Jews, blacks and Muslims, anybody who is not white. (racisms is a big part of being a NAZI) So why so much hating on NAZIS when they just want the same world many of you want? ie free of non white peoples, it least non white peoples in a position of power and influence. ?

They are not defeating anyone. Putin is being soft on the NATO trained Nazis.. If all the Rusian military was fighting these NATO scum bags, Kiev would have been in ruins. When Putin decides that Rusian soldiers lives matter, than this war wouldn’t be taking this long..

“Liberating the entire DPR territory is now under threat”.
No it isn’t. Western Ukraine gets credit for taking the initiative. Anything is possible obviously. A major creak through could change the landscape. Prior to this, in the last month it had been Russia taking a village here and a town there. Western Ukraine had been defensive and reactionary but abundantly so to make RF a slow plodding. Taking the DPR territory was still quite a long ways off.
Ukraine is now putting up significant men and materials using a the significant advantage in men they have (provided Russia continues to fight with an expeditionary force). Ukraine is leveraging this now. Forcing RF to have to move from A to B back to A. But taking some of the gray zone and creating a few salients means little in the bog scope. At the start of the winter in 1944 the Germans took significant territory and created multiple salients. But once it stalled it was impossible for them to hold the gains. Ukraine hasn’t made anything remotely close to big gains and what suggests they are in a position to solidify gains? Gains that aren’t going to change the math.
When you put up big time men ,materials, expend them for a big counteroffensive, it is critical to smash through quickly. Gaining a few KMs and some villages that had regional guard troops in? That means not much in the big scheme.

So who cares for the Rusians being captured or killed, because Putin wants to treat Ukrops like they are his brothers? Even one dead Rusian soldier is one too many. Why not bomb bridges and the communication centers in Kiev. This is a war and a mother/father is waiting for his son to come back home.
Are Putin’s son on the front lines getting captured or dying? He probably does not care about that, as long as the “special military operation” goes on..

Ed Theman

I agree, looks like Russia is losing. I’m not sure if this is because Ukraine is throwing everything they have right now at Russia.

Russia has also not taken a city in a while. I’m not sure here if Ukraine is also throwing everything they got to the defense of these cities.

It just doesn’t look good at all for Russia.

I guess this war can go on forever if USA keeps supplying weapons. Ukraine still has millions of people that can keep fighting and since Ukraine is getting all the supplies they need from elsewhere, they can just keep fighting.

Vritron

Come on, Russia! Don’t disappoint us right now!🙏 🇷🇺

Lord Humungus

He doesn’t give a fuck, I swear. Him, Shoigu, Gerasimov are playing war games in Vostok when all of this happening.

Ukraine is managing all of this with a mere 9,000 men? Why did Russia ever undertake this fucking “Special Operation” anyways? It reminds me so much of the civil war in 2014/15. You know they cursed Putin in the Donbass. Why? Because Russia only provided the DPR with enough assistance so Ukraine could not win, but not enough for the DPR to win. Thus, we got the “Minsk” accords and the lines of contact were not moved back and Ukraine was allowed to entrench for eight years and now it seems history repeats itself.

It is clear that there have never been enough troops since day one.

I‘m really asking myself by now what the hell Putin intends to do. This „halfway in“ will never lead to success.

Either the Russians get additional man power or they can stop this whole shit all over.

Pamfil Military Academy here, you nazi cock sucker filthy garbage !
The ONLY logic of the russian military command for that events to happen is that IS TOTALLY INTENTIONAL ! Why to bother to trap enemy into a bulge/salient when they are very willing to do so ???
Let them do it first but with calculated ‘pulse’ movements, just like in Kherson Andreevka bulge where thousands of hohol bandera imbeciles were pulverized with FAB 500 on open FLAT agricultural lands !!!
Why to risk you’re aviation inside enemy covered SAM’s when you can simply stay in your ZOC and fire upon them ?????
The only backdrop of this ELEMENTARY military academy textbook is to know perfectly how much enemy inertia have to not reach sensible points (like the M03 highway). Then you can call the steamrollers upon Jewlensky faggots to fire AT WILL. That’s from pure military perspective. Off course, russians could have, as I told many times previously, other politic reasons. Let’s see upon a week by now what was the real deal.
