Despite the announcement of the “ceasefiure” by the Saudi-UAE-led coalition, clashes between the Houthis and coalition-led forces are still ongoing near the city of al-Hudaydah in western Yemen.
Recently, the Houthis have destroyed a column of the coalition-led forces near the al-Hudaydah airport destroying at least 5 vehicles and killing a dozen of coalition-backed fighters. Separately, the Houthis have repelled coalition-backed attacks east and northeast of the city.
The Saudi Air Force is actively supporting these attacks claiming that it pounds only military positions. However, the coalition-backed force has not been able to make any significant progress in its push to capture city over the past 5 days.
Of course is on going the houthis are clean the trash.
Hahaha yes :)))
the airport seems to be the key defense for the houthis, seem to be really really good entrenched there..great!! +
seeing the graphics, presuming they r correct, the mercs by the coast in between from the fortified airport are dead meat…..it looks like the saudi merc troops are now going directly for the port…from the east..maybe even they can reach it, but i very much doubt that if they do, that they can hold on to it…and if the supply line keeps cut..lol…… they r all dead meat
God willing :)))
Even after the Saduis bombed the container yard cranes in Hodeida in 2016, the port could still handle unloading an average of 2 – 3 ships/day. The Saudi total blockade of Hodeida at the end of 2017 resulted in the worst cholera outbreak ever recorded on earth, and six million more Yemenis living on the edge of famine.

The quantity of food-fuel that made it to Hodeida in the last couple of weeks (graph above) is far below what is needed to prevent cholera/famine. The ‘new’ Yemen cholera outbreak and famine have already started, thanks, in part, to the UN.
Hodeida blockades are enforced by the Saudi Coalition of Evil, and the United Nation’s Verification and Inspection Mechanism for Yemen (UNVIM) in Djibouti, bought and paid for by the Coalition of Evil. The Hadi Mafia government and its Central Bank (owned by the Saudi Coalition of Evil/Rothschilds) issued Ministrial Decree 75 regarding fuel and food importers, which pretty much limits both to big companies that are friendly to and have paid sufficient bribes to the Hadi Mafia and are Central Bank approved. And it mostly excludes the importers now operating in Hodeida and Saleef.
Remember, now: the Houthi rebellion was a direct result of Saleh’s, then Hadi’s corruption and system of political/tribal neopatrimonial patronage. Kind of like Decree 75.
So we have the Saudi/UAE-fellating UN acting as enforcement thugs for Saudi/UAE-backed Hadi Mafia which just imposed a de facto food and fuel blockade on the 15+ million Yemenis in the north that depend on Hodeida and Saleef.
The battle lines are interesting, but that’s not what this war is about, anymore.
The cholera is mostly caused by bombing sewerage plants, which is an old American trick, the US always bombs the sewerage plants, because they are the worlds foremost proponents of biological warfare.
It must be galling for the Saudis, when they see the US giving close air support to ISIS in Syria, but not helping Saudi terrorists.
