At least 4 suicide bombers detained in Kunduz of Afghanistan

It is reported that at least four attempting young suicide bombers were detained by the Afghan National Security Forces in northern Kunduz province of Afghanistan.

The local security officials said that the young bombers had been looking to carry out suicide attacks in different parts of Kunduz province and were detained by intelligence operatives.

The provincial governor Asadullah Omar Khel told reporters that the young men were trained in a Madrasa in Qarabagh district of Kabul.

However, the Afghan National Security Forces have not said anything about the group in which those young suicide attackers are enlisted.

After the United States and its allies attacked the country as part of Washington’s so-called war on terror, Afghanistan has been gripped by terror for more than 14 years. Although the 2001 attack overthrew the Taliban, still it poses a significant security threat in Afghanistan.
