Russian forces have secured the industrial zone in southern Konstantynivka and key strongpoints on the heights near Huliaipole, severing all supply routes to the Ukrainian garrison there. Meanwhile, on the diplomatic front, a new round of talks between Ukrainian representatives and an American delegation led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio was held in Florida.

Zaporizhzhia Sector

Russian units of the “West” group of forces are continuing their advance, breaking through Ukrainian defensive lines. In the central sector, they cleared the tree lines near Dobropillia in heavy fighting, pushing hostilities to the outskirts of the settlement.

On an adjacent front, Russian forces have cleared positions on the approaches to Varvarivka across a five-kilometer-wide sector. Their forward units are now advancing on the settlement itself. The capture of Varvarivka will allow Russian forces to consolidate their control over this section of the Haichur River bank.

On the southern flank of the sector, russian units advancing from Zatishshia are conducting combat operations on the outskirts of Huliaipole. After consolidating within the city limits on November 19, they have gradually advanced into the city.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces remain encircled in a tactical pocket near the settlements of Zeleney Hai and Vesile. This isolation is a result of Russian units from the “West” grouping capturing a series of strongpoints on the high ground to the east, severely compromising Ukrainian supply lines. The capture of these settlements would allow Russian forces to launch an offensive against Huliaipole from a new direction.

Kupyansk Sector

Russian troops are continuing to clear the urban areas of Kupyansk. The control zone is expanding around the Petropavlivka settlement and near Borovskaya.

Supported by armored vehicles, troops advanced from Sinkivka towards Petropavlivka, semi-encircling the settlement from the east and west along the highway. On the southern flank, advancing towards Borovskaya was accompanied by the capturing of two strongpoints.

Sumy Sector

The «North» Russian group’s assault units, supported by aviation, artillery, and heavy flamethrower systems, are advancing deeper into Sumy region. Ukrainian formations have not undertaken any active counterattacks; however, a regrouping of forces has been noted.

The advance of the Russian assault units was recorded along five sections of the tree line, with a total progress of up to 400 meters. In the Andriivka area, a combat group of the Ukrainian 158th Separate Mechanized Brigade was disrupted by complex fire damage. The «North» group’s artillery struck positions in the Iskryskivshchyna and Ryzhevka areas.

Kharkiv Sector

Russian forces are consolidating their positions on the eastern outskirts of Vovchansk, with their aviation and artillery striking identified Ukrainian positions in support of the offensive.

On the left bank of Vovchansk, Russian assault groups pushed 400 meters into the residential sector, advancing through four separate sections. As a result, a Ukrainian unit that had not received a withdrawal order was encircled in the tree lines on the city’s eastern outskirts. Elsewhere, Russian units made significant advances of up to 500 meters in the areas of Tsegelne and Vilcha.

In the Mytrofanivka area, Russian Aerospace Forces struck identified positions of the Ukrainian 151st Separate Mechanized Brigade. A Ukrainian strongpoint was detected and destroyed in the Veterinarne settlement area.

Borovskoye Sector

After a prolonged lull, Russian forces have reignited hostilities in this sector. Units of the “West” group stormed and captured the settlement of Borovskaya Andreevka, building on an earlier advance to the northwest from this same area.

Russian forward assault groups have now begun attacking Ukrainian defensive positions around the adjacent settlement of Borovskoye. The capture of this area would disrupt the logistical routes for Ukrainian formations stationed near Nova Krugliakovka. Given the ongoing offensives on the Kupyansk and Lyman fronts, a further escalation of combat operations in this sector is highly likely.

Konstantynivka Sector

Russian forces are on the offensive north of Ivanopillia. In the city of Konstantynivka itself, heavy fighting is focused on the railway depot, with Russian units having secured the adjacent industrial zone in the southern districts and pushed up to 600 meters deeper into the urban area.

On the eastern flank, Russian troops have cleared a Ukrainian tactical pocket between Oleksandro-Shultyne and Predtechyne, securing the eastern approaches to Konstantynivka. Simultaneously, units of the Russian 150th Motorized Rifle Division are advancing westwards along the northern shore of the Kleban-Byk Reservoir, having fully cleared the territory from Pleshcheievka to the waterline. Despite facing intense Ukrainian shelling and fighting through the ruins of Pleshcheievka, they advanced 300 meters, reaching the settlement’s northern extremity.

Conclusion

Russian forces maintain the operational initiative across most frontlines. In the eastern Zaporizhzhia sector, key advances saw them reach the outskirts of Dobropillia and Varvarivka, with fighting now ongoing in Huliaipole. Securing Huliaipole is contingent on Russian units severing the supply lines of the Ukrainian grouping in the Zeleney Hai area.

The offensive has intensified in the Borovskoye and Kupyansk sectors, marked by the Russian capture of Borovskaya Andreevka and a semi-encirclement of Petropavlivka. This expansion consolidates Moscow’s control over the left bank of the Oskol River.

In the Sumy sector, Russian tactic of methodically clearing tree lines continues to prove effective, yielding further tactical gains. The main focus in the Kharkiv sector remains Vovchansk, where advances through the residential areas and the isolation of remaining Ukrainian units are bringing the operation closer to its conclusion.

In Konstantynivka, the primary achievement was the penetration into the industrial zone and the securing of the flanks, which establishes a bridgehead for a future assault on the city’s urban quarters.

In parallel with the developments on the battlefield, diplomatic efforts have intensified. The U.S. State Department confirmed a meeting between the American delegation, led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Ukrainian representatives on November 30 in Florida. Secretary Rubio described the meeting as «very productive» and added that more work is needed to end the military conflict, emphasizing that Russia «will have to be part of the equation». U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff is expected to travel to Moscow for further negotiations.

According to international media outlets, Russia’s reaction to the proposed terms will determine the prospects of any agreements. The negotiation process is «not easy», according to Agence France-Presse, with the parties working on specific formulations and addressing sensitive issues related to ending the conflict. A source close to the Kyiv delegation stated that the negotiations were nevertheless “constructive.” These diplomatic efforts are unfolding amid the gradual advance of Russian units, which observers say strengthens Moscow’s negotiating position.
