Qais Alkhazali, leader of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq [a part of the Popular Mobilization Units], welcomed the Iraqi Parliament’s decision to oppose an independence referendum promoted by the Kurdistan Region government and and emphasized his support to Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Al-Abadi in preserving Iraq’s integrity.

Earlier this week, the Iraqi Parliament voted against the independence referendum in Iraqi Kurdistan Region and obliged the Iraqi government to take measures to “preserve the unity of Iraq”.

In turn, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel officially supports “the legitimate efforts of the Kurdish people to attain a state of its own“.

“…In turn, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel officially supports “the legitimate efforts of the Kurdish people to attain a state of its own“…”

Lol… Great punchline!

For a second, I thought he was saying something that really mattered to anyone.

Serious

Thta’s f…. stupid. Let kurds take their lands (and only the lands where they live) if they want and say sheitanyahu “Your plan gonna fail”.

Don’t understand why these Arabs are doing.

George King

Kurds aren’t going to take any land it belongs to sovereign nations, get over it.

Iraq has already showed Kurds the finger and, I hope Syria will do the same. They are the “enemies within” which has brought USA ILLEGALLY INTO Syria!!

Remove Kurd

Cheers Iraq for getting your Parliamentarians to make the decision; That is democracy in action! I hope Syria’s Parliament will go the same way. Palestinians must get their state as from the 1947 Resolution 181. Where is their 48% of lands?

Marc Fischer

Israel, in its utter desperation, is now seeking to use the Kurds as pawns in its great game against Iran. How pathetic. They have an army which is only good for shooting rubber bullets and breaking Palestinian babies’ arms .. now they are hoping the Kurds will fight and die for their national interests, in much the same way as the US, Britain, Canada and Australia have been for the past 103 years …

Wahid Algiers

A zionist/jew/Israeli would sell his mother for a goodie. But first of all they always look for an idiot and they found the kurds.
