Army Troops Liberated Um Tina In Southern Aleppo (Map)

Following the liberation of Qital from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra), the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and Iranian-backed militias advanced further in southern Aleppo and liberated the village of Um Tina.

In this way, SAA fighters and their allies de-facto cut off the way that may be used by members of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and ISIS to flee northeastern Hama to the province of Idlib.

Great!

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

This is why many can never see how this plan is working as they need to know the terrain on the ground to see the obvious choice in capturing which towns or villages. This is great news as this will mean eventually a defeat of the remaining groups in the pocket.

RichardD

I wonder what the Turks are going to do with all of these terrorists that they flooded Syria with over the past 6 years as they get pushed up against their border and try to get out of Syria and back into Turkey ahead of the advancing SAA and it’s allies?

RichardD

Is this the future that the Zionists have planned for Turkey:

You can call me Al

I said this right after the so called Turkish coup – in fact I said Turkey and Egypt are next.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

They are using them to attack Afrin which changes my thinking to also include my early predictions of using them to takeover Afrin under ISIS name so the US will make a move in this eventually. Hope the Russians and Syrians stay strong. right now only feints but will get real soon.

RichardD

The terrorists have a closet full of uniforms to change as needed.

FlorianGeyer

Turkey will have a stark choice. Allow rabid killers to create mayhem inside Turkey or kill them all. Any Turkish Sarin stocks for instance would be useful. :) The Western press could then say it was a Flu Epidemic :)

RichardD

They may try to send them to the EU as refugees.

FlorianGeyer

That will be fun :)

You can call me Al

Fook what the Turks do, we can just sit back, get the beers in and watch in between laughter.

dutchnational

Like the collapse of Aleppo late 2016 was the result both of Turkey withdrawing support from the rebel groups its supported and by the withdrawal of many opposition fighters towards Euphrates Shield, it seems likely that the withdrawal of many rebel forces out of Idlib to attack SDF/YPG, will likely hasten their loss of the Idlib region and , also likely, to them getting hammered by the SDF in Afrin and Manbij.

RichardD

Maybe the same thing can be done to push the terrorists that the Jews have been supporting south into the Golan and northern Israel.

You can call me Al

Do you ever read your posts after you write them ?. Not only do you type utter BS, you sound as mad as a hatter.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Well this isn’t quite up to date but currently they also took 10 more towns, while Harasta offensive has resumed due to operational pauses by the Idlib push also. They needed the lull to evacuate more hostages from Douma has they were held for two years there.

Seems everyone who wants to leave to the government areas can’t and one of the hostages said people are starving and health issues are being exacerbated in the region by the Terrorists Jaysh al Islam.

Apparently the Hezbollah media wing says the SAA has entered the Abu Duhur airbase , can’t tell what’s going on didn’t say clashes or anything. Seems many FSA and HTS have gone to help Turkey in the invasion, looks as if they are committed on this attack now.

You can call me Al

Thanks for the update. I also read that the SAA had reclaimed the Abu Duhur airbase……. before they withdrew and then the air force basically obliterated it to get rid of the sleeper cells…..

From WHAT I can gather, the HTS is now just a man and his dog and they have either joined the Kurds or the FSA (probably the FSA as you infer) …..if it were any other Country than Turkey, I would be happy, but I just don’t know if they will fook off afterwards.

Strange days ahead, but as long as the SAA and Hezbollah remain out of it, they suffer no moe casualties, which is a good thing.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

They all joined Turkey on the attack on Afrin saved some pictures to pinterest, usually get people saving pictures fron 5-7 people saving 20 -30 pics a day.

You can call me Al

Thanks for the info, I’ll get one of my kids to guide the way.

FlorianGeyer

” issues are being exacerbated in the region by the Terrorists Jaysh al Islam.”

And also by the Bleeding Hearts of the British Bullshit Corporation who are again showing almost daily the faux heroism of the White helmets ( terrorists with benefits).

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

I always thought it was the Bogus Bullshit Collaboration Media.

FlorianGeyer

On alternate days it is. Except Sundays when Religious programmes are tasked with obfuscating reality.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

So on Sundays it’s called Bible Bollocks Confusion.

FlorianGeyer

On Saturdays its Torah Tyranny day
and on Fridays its Mustafa Prophet day.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

LOL!

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Well read some interesting detail that was left out about the deal offered as it reflected badly on the Kurds in the SDF and shows who really runs the show in Northern Syria. Apparently the deal wasn’t only having the SAA on the border but the handing over the Deir ez Zoir oilfields of which the Kurds refused because the US wouldn’t allow it anyways. This prompted Moscow to call in the Turks the week after.

FlorianGeyer

That I was unaware of. Thank you for the information .

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Always check various sources have laptop will check even twitter online, Apparently both Russia and US called General Akar and Tillerson demanded a halt, they both use Article 51 for their legitimacy in Syria.

FlorianGeyer

He is :)

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Seems as if the HTS, FSA, and possibly some ISIS members are part of the attack on Afrin, looks like with these hardcore storming Al Qaeda forces which the YPG never really faced may well have a chance of taking it and Manbij if the Turks decide to take it.

Eisenherz

I also dont like this guy but she has a point. I dont agree with aleppo but with the current idlib operation is she right.
Turkeys choice to go after afrin made it possible for the pro government forces to develope a momentum faster than expacted.

As soon as street punks fought back and the lack of air suport due to the whether pro government forces advance dramaticly slowed down and even having serious casulties.

the pro government forces were kind of stucked in a ping pong situation.

THAT HAS CHANGED AS TURKEY HAS PULLED MOST OF THEIR DOGS IN THAT REGION OUT FOR THE AFRIN INVASION. So its kind of an empty house.

For now it has a good effect for the government but as a long term?
Hhmm i dont know erdogan is very unpredictable and we dont know the deal between russia iran syria and turkey. There must have been some kind of deal with them otherwise turkey woudnt attack.

Remember erdogan isnt stupid.
He is an ice cold politician who
Pretends to not know who was backing the coup to kill him.
He knows exactly who are surporting an independent kurdish state.
Its definitly not russia nor iran nor syria.
It is israhell and the us.

Ono&Dsz

Airport is liberated!!

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

They entered the airbase but no word on it’s capture or fighting , but 3 more key towns in sealing of the pocket have been captured.

@Inc2Get

Nope, Pro goverment Sources reports that the Airbase has already been liberated: https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/breaking-syrian-army-seizes-abu-duhur-airbase-east-idlib-al-qaeda-reports/

They have also linked up in Idlib and created a massive pocket on southern Idlib/Northern Hama. https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/breaking-syrian-army-encircles-isis-huge-area-spanning-hama-idlib-aleppo-seizing-key-3-towns/

Regarding the Airbase, they still need to demine it and secure their gains.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Then it’s not cleared as it needs demining and securing, Tiger forces and SAA call it cleared until those things are done. There is always a possibility of a counter-attack at any time during it.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

The next operation should be Kefreyya and Fou’a both are always under constant attack , would be good if they put Khan Sheikhoun in a pocket and capture the White Helmets:)

SVEN ??

Even JihadLiveMap says it’s been liberated.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

They still need to properly secure it and demine it until the last is not done then it’s not free of the enemy. Syrian army rule to clear and secure the area first then it’s free, IED’s make it unsafe and any hidden traps.

SVEN ??

Yeah but still it’s been liberated. Of course it’s gonna take a while till it’s operational again…

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Apparently Russia has bombed the sleeper cells ,inghimasi waiting to go meet the 72 goats in heaven.

Joe Doe

Now SAA should clean the packet

gold37

They have special teams that work on clearing pockets. They wait till they start running out of food, water, fuel before attacking.

SVEN ??

Towards Kafraya and Al-Fou’aa now! Get ready for Deir Ezzor 2.0! ?????? https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/df0881cdf3a1b8f8d10d1ddb4914e58120fc4acfb0cc0b0ffceecb628673f765.gif
