Army And Allied Forces Advance In Damascus Desert, Liberate More Areas (Video)

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA), the National Defense Forces (NDF), the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) military wing and other pro-government factions have further advanced against militants in the Damascus desert.

According to pro-government sources, government troops have liberated over 100 km2, including Tal Assadi, Tal Jarin, Tal Riyahayn and Bi’r Saboun, from militants in southeastern Syria.

Impressive, but the highest priority should be linking 5th corps with tiger forces. With that link, tigers can safely march down the Euphrates to deir ezzor.

You are generally right, but the pushes in the southwest are important too to show Jordan and Israel that the liberation of Syria in front of their feet goes on. This operation will prepare furher pushes against terrorists in the southwest pockets (Suweida, Daara).
