Unidentified armed individuals opened fire on a group of Israeli settlers in the city of Hebron (al-Khalil) on August 21.
At least one Israeli settler was killed and four others were injured in the incident. The shooting took place in southern Hebron from inside a car, and the attackers fled the scene.
Following the attack, Palestinian resistance movement Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem congratulated the operation’s success and emphasized that Palestinian resistance succeeded in dealing a strong blow to the enemy once again.
It should be mentioned that two days earlier, two Palestinian youths targeted an Israeli car wash in the Huwara town in the northern West Bank on August 19, killing two other Zionists.
In recent weeks, anti-Israeli operations have intensified in the West Bank, a development that has left Israeli leaders more confused than ever, coinciding with widespread internal protests and unrest, which rattled the Israeli regime. As some Israeli experts acknowledged, the regime is on the verge of complete collapse.
